Del Pilar Miraflores is a great little business hotel. I have used it for the past few years on frequent trips to Lima. The rooms are clean and modern, if a little on the small side. They have free internet in the rooms (cable needed) or free wifi in the restaurant.
Breakfast is included, and they will fix it for you at any time of morning--even really early (before 5am)--which is handy if you are leaving on one of the very early flights from Lima to other cities.
The restaurant is pretty good, offering international fare. For some reason it is usually quite empty, which I find sad, because the food is decent and the staff are helpful.
The staff throughout the hotel are friendly. The rooms have AC/heat that you can control. There are a few large rooms "suites" that are located in the corner of each floor...the ones on the upper floors have small balconies, the ones on the lower floors have more space. They have 2 floors that are smoke-free. Try to get these if smoke bothers you. The good news is that the windows do open, so you can air out the room if you happen to get a smoky one.
The location is great...only about a block from the main park in Miraflores where there are a lot of restaurants and shops, plus an art fair on the weekends. Yet, it is on a quite side street with pretty good windows that make it possible to sleep even though you can still hear the traffic.
This has been my preferred hotel for my stays in Lima. However, recently the price has essentially doubled. It was a great value for $65-80, but for $120-$160 you can find hotels that are better.

Location not bad, next to a nice square/park and handicraft markets in the Petit Thouars street. About 10 min on foot to the Larco Mar shopping/dining center overlooking the Pacific ocean but no evident way to descend the cliff to the beach. Room ok, equipped with a safe and a minibar. Good breakfast, free welcome drink (inevitable Pisco Sour).

Definitely a good value. A good location. Safe hotel. Very helpful staff. A safe in the room. Mini bar. All the taxis know the hotel. There is a shop right across the street for waters and snacks etc. The money exchange is right around the corner and bus to Larcomar etc stops right behind the hotel. No breakfast included but a good safe place to start your trip. Lima is not the safest best place so I choose to pay up to feel more secure.

clean, modern hotel - nothing spectacular, but it has everything you need, and for the price and location in miraflores it is worth considering. The hotel faces a side street so there is much less traffic noise at night ! Friendly, helpful staff.
