I stayed in the Novotel after failing to find availability in a hotel more in the centre of Warsaw. First impressions of the Foyer are quite good which looks up-to-date and fairly modern. Staff at check-in are quite welcoming and things are fine until you see your tarriff. My bedroom was in major need of refurbishment looking 15 years out of date and with an odd seperate toilet from the bathroom. The plug-hole in the bathroom was also blocked which meant that I had to shave into the bath. At 140 euro per night the hotel is over-priced for the facilities and standard of rooms on offer. The buffet breakfast was ok but the location is poor - in the middle of nowhere and a long cab-ride from the reconstructed Old Town. Overall the hotel is a 2-3 star with 4 star prices and I wouldn't want to stay here again and would certainly not recommend this hotel if you can avoid it.

Después de muchas horas tratando de hallar un buen hotel en Warsaw, nos decidimos por el Novotel Airport, principalmente por el precio y la ubicación. Llegamos a Warsaw temprano por la tarde viajando por carretera para tomar un vuelo a la mañana siguiente temprano. El desayuno, que comenzaba a las seis, estaba incluido (partimos para el aeropuerto a las 5:30 así que no puedo comentar sobre el mismo) Sales por la puerta del frente atravesando el paso elevado y tomas el autobús que va directamente a la ciudad vieja. El autobús del mismo número vuelve y hace parada enfrente del hotel. Era muy tranquilo, a pesar de estar a solo dos Km del aeropuerto. El autobús de enlace era gratis pero había que reservar la noche anterior. Las habitaciones eran calmas y limpias (Tienes que usar tu tarjeta llave en una ranura en la pared para prender las luces), con un elevador eficiente. Era un hotel relativamente nuevo y por el precio para mi esposa y yo fue fantástico.

This is a very nice hotel, about ten minutes from the airport. DO NOT TAKE A "CAB" FROM INSIDE THE AIRPORT. You will be approached by "limo" drivers and it is extremely expensive. A cab should be cheap, and the hotel also has free van service. The hotel is very nice, with good-sized rooms. The restaurant is excellent. Have the potato soup! All of the "Polish Specialties" I tried from the menu were very, very good. The breakfast buffet was included in my room rate, and it was one of the better buffets I have enjoyed. I did not get to see much of Warsaw since this was a business trip, but we did go to the Old Town one evening, and it was only about twenty minutes away by taxi (at what was probably evening rush.) I would stay here again, since it is very close to the airport, but seems easy to get around the rest of the city as well. One quaint note - one of the maids (because it didn't happen one day during my stay) would fold my t-shirt and gym shorts and put them under my pillow. I think my mom was the last one to put my pyjamas under my pillow! It was a nice touch.

After many hours trying to find a good hotel in Warsaw decided on Novotel Airport, basically for price and location). Arrived in Warsaw by road early afternoon with early flight the next morning. Breakfast included starting at 6 we left for airport at 05:30 so can't comment. You go out the front door over the pedestrian overpass and catch the bus goes right to old town. The same number returns and drops off in front of hotel. very quiet given only 2 km from airport. Shuttle is free but must book the night before. Rooms quiet clean (must use your room card in slot in wall to turn on lights) with efficent elevator. This is a relatively new hotel and for the price was great for my wife and I.

We stayed at this hotel twice within two weeks coming into and leaving Poland. We would definitely stay there again. The hotel has actually been there for many years, but the high-rise section is new. The rooms were immaculately clean, with the only "quirks" being a lighting system that requires insertion of a card key (???) and the odd (to me) custom of having the toilet in a small room adjacent to the bathroom. They have air conditioning but you really don't need it. The breakfast buffet is perhaps the finest thing about your stay. It is 10 euros per person but well worth it! They serve everything imaginable and it is all excellent. Also, don't pass up the pork cutlet dinner with cabbage and potatoes. The front desk service is very helpful, and there is a free shuttle to and from the airport; if for some reason the shuttle is not available, they will get you a taxi promptly, free of charge. (DO NOT let some guy in the airport take you to his "taxi"; it's not licensed and you could end up paying a fortune just to get your luggage back!) Be sure and ask for a room facing the pool side, not the highway; the view is much nicer. And if you like having snacks and soft beverages in the room, there is a grocery store about 500 metres away (just a brisk walk, good exercise after a trans-Atlantic flight), down Ulica 1-go Sierpnia on the right, but of course you have to know Polish to read the labels. I'm sure they would rather have you get these out of the minibar, but if you travel on a budget as I do, you always want to find a handy grocery. This is a nice place to stay and the price is definitely right. They will see me again!
