We stayed four nights and had a fantastic time. The location was perfect and the hotel and the rooms were beautiful. The carpeting was wonderful and cheerful; the doors gorgeous, and the marble bathroom was lovely. The towels, robe, and bed were all comfortable. The service and breakfast were terrific, served in a spacious room. The bread and the eggs/sausage were delicious. The easy and cheap internet computer (15 minutes per euro) in the lobby was great. We would definitely give it an "A" and would come back in a heartbeat. You can walk to the Prado and the Thyssen museums in one minute; easy walk to the lovely Salamanca area, and to Puerto del Sol and Plaza Major. Stay here, you won't be disappointed; a great hotel at a reasonable price!

Location is important because my wife and I would like to see as much as possible in three days. The hotel is nice and clean. Even the smoking room does not smell of cigarettes. 10 minutes walk and we arrive at Puerta Del Sol. Overall the hotel is good. We paid around 104 Euro per night, the most expensive on our three city trips. We don't spend enough time at the hotel to justify paying so much. The breakfast is good. No wifi though, which is a shame.
