We recently stayed at the hotel for 3 nights as a family for our wedding and family get together. The service, rooms and food were superb and I can whole-heartedly recommend this hotel for business or leisure.
The rooms are large, well appointed and clean. Service is unobtrusive but very accommodating when required. Food was stunning with locally sourced ingredients and classy presentation.
The bar is friendly with a fine selection of whisky and snacks.
All together a very positive experience.

4 star hotel but great value for money if you get a deal. We paid ?80 for 2 nights B&B in total so cheaper than a motel at that price.
The rooms are lovely with lots of space and well furnished with a cracking ensuite with power shower. The rooms are very clean and we had a good view of the garden as we were in the garden wing which is a seperate annex from the main building which means peace & quiet at night.
Breakfast is fantastic and served in the conservatory from very helpful staff with a massive choice from the cold buffet and also full Scottish, kippers, smoked salmon etc. Good quality food.
There is a bar/restaraunt called Wallaces which we ate in on the Friday night and the food was excellent with a varied menu and good service. Never used the hotel al a carte but it is supposed to be good. Only negative about the hotel is the bar which seems to have been an afterthought and we had to find someone to serve us so we only had 1 drink in it and went out both nights.
All in all a great hotel if you get a deal but wouldnt pay the list price.

Stayed at the Grange hotel a few weeks ago. After reviewing the other hotels in the Falkirk area this seemed the only suitable one of any standard apart from Inchragrange which was too far from the town.
On arival we were greeted with friendliness and efficiency and to our surprise were given a room upgrade not only for ourselves but for a couple we also booked for who were arriving the day after us.
There are rooms in the main hotel building and an annexe, one review we read advised that the annexe were the better/bigger rooms but we were very happy with the size and quality of the room we were allocated in the main hotel. There are a couple of criticisms of the room. It did not have internet access or film selection through the television and being a popular hotel they tend to have wedding receptions most weekends and the smokers congrugate outside at the main hotel entrance and our room was right above this. The chattering of merry revellers did disturb us on one night. I would suggest that you steer clear of room 2 (102) in the main hotel if there are any functions on and you want a quiet night.
We booked an evening meal in the Wallace restaurant which is a converted bran\steading to the left of the hotel. The service was excellent (it was quite quiet for a Friday) and the food was excellent. If your'e a veggie try the veggie fajitas. We were unsure of what wine to order and were given a taste of one just to make sure we liked it before spending ?15 on it and you don't always get that service in restaurants.
Breakfast is everything you could ask for. I had full veggie english and one of my friends had salmon with poached egg so no expense spared there. The usual selection of fruit juices and cereals were also available.
The bar service was quite poor as they seemed under staff or were otherwise occupied with the receptions taking place so we had to ask for someone to man the bar on a couple of occassions.
The final points that you should bear in mind is that if you pay by credit card you are charged ?2 extra and there is also a ?1 charity donation added to your bill (unless you specifically ask for it to be taken off, and who would !!). this is not a big issue but it just didn't seem right. Would prrefer if I was asked at check out if I wanted to donate, I would probably give more than ?1 as I was very pleased with my stay overall.
Hope this helps you make up your mind about staying at this hotel, we'll certainly book in again.

i stay here 3 or 4 times a year on business. Its a nice hotel to stay at, the staff are pleasant and the rooms comfortable. the old part of the hotel (the part at the front) has some big, well equipped rooms but in all the 'old' rooms i have stayed in there has been a problem with the water supply, either no hot water or funny colour. the staff say there is a nack to getting it to work, but i never have. I always ask to stay in the new section out the back. The food is good in the main restaurant but portions are small (a la carte). personally i try and book myself into 'wallaces' restaurant (located to one side of the car park). nice place, great food but often gets booked up early (you can reserve a place here at the hotel reception).

We stayed in the Grange Manor during August 2003. Firstly, Grangemouth is not a particularly picturesque place to stay but please don't let this put you off! It is a great base for many places (including Edinburgh and Glasgow) and certainly somewhere relaxing and comfortable to return to after a long day sightseeing.
The rooms where very well appointed and newly decorated, the staff friendly and food excellent. I would not hesitate to return to this lovely hotel.
