Nice hotel in Venice. Friendly staff and clean, cozy rooms. If we are ever going back to Venice we will more than likely stay in this hotel again.

Hotel was recommended by a friend. We brought them home a nice present!
Romantic location away from hectic St. Mark’s Square in a true Venetian neighborhood with great (and reasonable) restaurants and local shops. Just a few minutes from both Laguna and Vaporetto stops. Hotel impeccably clean, staff consummately professional. Rooms distinctively decorated and surprisingly spacious for Europe. Breakfast was elegant and generous. Great value; will definitely return.

Our family spent four nights at the Ai Mori d"Oriente in April '08. It was a lovely hotel on a quiet canal - about 3 "bridges" or blocks from the San Marcuola Vaporetto stop. We had a total of three rooms - two standard rooms (on the ground floor) and one larger superior room on the "first floor." The rooms were all lovely. The partial doors on the tub/shower were the only thing that threw us - we all managed to cover the bathroom floors with water until we got the hang of it.
The location was convenient to the vaporetto and we were able to easily get around the city between walking and the vaporetto.

Perfect Anniversary

My husband took me on a surprise visit to Venice for our first wedding anniversary. I found out that he had done alot of research into hotels in Venice to find a good hotel in a quiet location with good reviews. It certainly ticked all the boxes.
We had a superior room with a lovely terrace which we used one evening (when it wasn't raining!). The room was a good size with a nice bathroom and very clean. The location of the hotel in a residential part of Venice suited us well - we were happy to get away from the hustle and bustle, eat in cheaper places and buy our bottled water from the local supermarket (for about 20p for a large bottle).
Breakfast in the morning was very nice and included in the price of the room. We also used the hotel bar a few times and enjoyed an evening watching Italy play Holland in Euro 2008 with the staff. They were all very friendly and professional. It's not cheap though! We bought a bottle of champagne in duty free and put it in our mini bar fridge so that we could celebrate in style without breaking the bank.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Our room was comfortable, we enjoyed mixing with the locals and being in a quiet spot. If we ever go to Venice again, we would definitely stay here.
