6 months previously we stayed at the H10 Montecada Hotel in the gothic district, which was perfect for a city break, so we didnt hesitate at booking H10 again. We chose this hotel for its location to the beach/marina area. We arrived late Friday night, and reception was very busy, after an initiall mix up over our room (we emailed and paid in advance and notifed the hotel of our late arrival), they insisted thehotel was full, and no double rooms available! However when we showed them the email and the receipt - they backed down). Other than that great hotel, clean modern, nice room/bathrom, fabulous choice at breakfast. This location would suit anyone wanting to be near Barceloneta Beach/Marina/Paseo de Maritim. No good if you want to be in the city centre (although there is metro station very near). Taxi's 10 Euros into Las Ramblas, Reception were not helpful in ringing taxis on both occasions we asked them. But Taxis can be flagged down off the main road nearby (may take some time). Overall, a good hotel was everything we expected. LOL! the roof terrace pool was very small. Would stay there again.

Not a perfect location if you want to be in Las Ramblas (who wants to go shopping anyway?) as a 10 minute taxi ride into town (about 10 euros) but great for the small Port Olympic with its 7-10 restaurants, casino and small bars. I was with a party of 12 and had a great time. Breakfast was superb and the rooms were clean with working air con - it was very hot. Pool area small but well kept. Bar staff in poor supply all round - more that 2 drinks and the world caved in :-) Concierge helpful. Middle of the road price wise. No real complaints.

We (a group of 10) stayed at the H10 Marina in June 2008 on a hen weekend, and I would highly reccomend this hotel. It is clean, well kept with minimalist modern decor and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The location is also great, about 10 minutes walk from the bars at Port Olympic. The pool area is quite small, so if that is a priority for you it may not be ideal, but as we didn't have time for sunbathing that was no issue.

I stayed here with a bunch of girls for a hen party, what can I say other than Champagne on arrival and champagne for breakfast, what more could a girl want. The hotel staff were extremely helpful bar the Spa staff (very rude). The rooms were clean and air conditioned. Service was slow at the bar but there was only one waitress and eighteen ladies ordering cosmos. I thought the pool bar was a tad pricey for toasted sambos but like most of Barcelona it is expensive. We had a meal in the Ala Carte restaurant one night and it was really really nice, extremely tasty and the waiting staff were very helpful and prompt. Overall we had a fabulous stay and would definitely recommend it and stay there again

We stayed at the H10 for 3 nights. The hotel is well located for the port area, which hosts some good restaurants and bars. The staff were friendly and we had contacted them in advance to ask about a childs bed and car parking. We were advised that there was parking but weren't told that it would cost us 20Euros per day. I also wanted to take our 2 yr old son for a swim in the inside pool as it was raining outside, but was asked to pay 20 euros for the privilege which I thought was poor. The breakfast was superb and overall it is a decent hotel without the wow factor.
