This hotel had the easiest check in and check out I've ever experienced. I told them my name and they gave me a room key - no passport or credit card details were needed. At check out I handed in the key, they asked if we'd had breakfast which we hadn't so they said 'bonne journee' and we were out the door.
The room itself was tiny, the beds were tiny and not too comfortable. The shower room was tiny and were so cramped I had to sit on the toilet side-saddle as the wall was too close for me to face forward!
The room was hot with no aircon but it was a hot day. There were no tea and coffee facilities in the room but they were advertised when we booked - you actually have to pay reception for a 'pod' if you want a drink. A small bottle of water was provided in the room.
The hotel was quite noisy too and there was a bit of a gap under the door so that didn't help the noise levels. I could hear people in other rooms and at one point heard a toilet seat go down, followed by groaning and then flushing.
Overall it served it's purpose - we needed somewhere cheap for one night in Paris. I didn't sleep too badly with my ear plugs in, it was cheap and I won't be going back.
Oh, there is a breakfast buffet for 8 euros or a quick breakfast for 4 euros which I think consisted of a drink and two mini danishes. We didn't partake of either though so I can't comment on the quality.

The hotel wasnt the best I have stayed in. Easy access to the metro which was good but you do have to walk through there version of Soho to get to it if you come from pagille station. The room itself was tiny and dark. The carpets were stained there was scuff marks all over the walls no coffee of tea facilities and the hair dyier didnt work. The bathroom was tiny, you had to sit side ways on the toilet. The shower cubicle always over flowed and drenched the carpet to the room. the room didnt feel secure. We had to leave our key with reception but was told any belongings left in the room is at your own risk. We found out the next morning when checking out that someone had been making calls from our room while we was out and they tried to charge us.... Im glad we took all our valuables.

Very very small rooms-tried to charge for breakfast but we did not eat there, expensive for the room, described as a 3 star hotel ????, i have seen better youth hostels, only good thing about the hotel was the location, bed rooms very small, no tea / coffee facilities, only shower in the rooms we had, no hair dryer only small mirror in the bathrooms,
plus points the beds were clean.

I was pleasantly surprised by the renovation they are completing. This meant that the rooms were freshly painted, the bathrooms had new fixtures, etc. The staff was quite helpful. I was a bit leary of the location near the Pigalle metro, but never had any bit of unease while going to and fro from the hotel and the metro, (through I never did wander into the red light district quite obviously displayed just beyond that metro stop. )The neighborhood had good restaurants and fruit stands and wonderful pastry shops.

We planned to stay longer but then checked out to get away. One evening after dinner with friends who were staying at another location, we stopped by our room so they could see and use the restroom. The person on staff told us we could not have visitors as it was midnight and simply too late. We felt as though we were children being punished by our parents.
The room was very small and the floors are very uneven. Some rooms have A/C and others do not.
Overall, not allowing visitors is unacceptable.
