This hotel is a joke. At the entrance: 4 stars; at the reception desk: 3 stars are marked; in the room: all stars disapeared. Not only the room is small and dirty, but the bathroom is the most terrible nightmare you ever dreamed. The hotel staff is deaf to any suggestion and from time to time a latin aggresivity is revealed. The only connection with Mozart is the reason for which the Requiem was composed: a funeral. Don't visit this hotel, not even if you are desperate.

We went there with a group of 10 for a congress for 3 days. In my room the tap was continuously leaking at least for months as the sink already showed a beautiful yellow area from the dripping water. The shower head was hanging from above and the position could not be changed. Nearly impossible to shower and keep your hair dry at the same time. Watching a movie on pay TV was not possible on any day due to "some problems" for the whole hotel. And it was nearly impossible to turn down the heater so that you had to sleep with an open window. Not so nice if you hear the garbage truck at 5 a.m.
My colleagues experienced the following:
- a bathromm that stinks out of the toilet
- no water in the shower for 2 days
- heating issue in any room
The brakfast was okay for anyone accepting packaged cereals and canned juice. Fresh fruit was available (apples and oranges) however.
A room rate of ? 170 per night including breakfast and taxes is definitely not a good price performance ratio.
I would give this hotel 2 stars for the rooms and 3 stars for the service.

A week stay was a little too long. Bedroom was small and athough we booked a double we were presented with a twin room on our first night.Hotel were unable to change this and instead our beds were pushed together the following day. As the week progressed bathroom items diminished, soap, toilet paper etc. We couldn't understand why pillowcases were changed every morning but sheets were never changed. Bathroom was functional but tatty and in need of modernisation.
Hotel location wasn't too bad a good 1/2 hour walk to the Duomo.
Staff on reception were mostly very helpful and spoke English when required. The breakfast was good but did become monotonous after a week and standards at the end of the week were not as good as at the beginning e.g. my teapot on the last day was just a jug of hotwater and a teabag!!
I wouldn't rate this a 4* star hotel more like a 3*

We booked here for an inexpensive short stay in Milan and found it a great base for our visit. The rooms are small but very comfortable and nicely furnished. There was no view to speak of - just the backs of other buildings - but we weren't expecting one.
We arrived fairly late and asked at reception if they had room service. The very helpful receptionist said they didn't but he provided us with some menus for some local delivery services and we had some excellent pizza delivered direct to the door - probably better and faster than most chain hotels would have managed in house :)
The breakfast was the usual continental buffet fare, served in a bright basement breakfast room. Perfectly adequate and with more than enough to leave us satisfied.
We had no trouble getting around and found the area around the hotel perfectly safe - not a dodgy area or anything like that.
Overall a very pleasent stay which we'd be happy to reccommend to others who are looking for a good value place to stay that doesn't feel like the pits.
