We stayed at this hotel for four nights in October 2007. We found it because it was one of the few that had availability during the world rugby championships going on in Paris.
Pros:
Rooms are very clean and neat and modern. Although ours were definitely on the small side (think Tokyo style hotel rooms), Rooms 508 and 509, they were thoughtfully designed and arranged, and there were a lot of nice little touches. For example, the bathrooms had nice granite counters and floors, and the floors were heated which is a very nice touch on a brisk evening. Everything was spotless.
The lobby is very modern and welcoming.
The location is excellent. It is not a seedy neighborhood, it's on a very flat street so if you are wearing business shoes, it's not an uncomfortable walk, and it's literally right outside the Rue de Bac metro stop. It is also not noisy (I was not able to hear noise at night from other rooms or from the street). Unfortunately, from Oct-Dec 2007, the Rue de Bac metro stop is closed for renovations, but even still, you're only two blocks away from the next metro stop. You are also an easy walk from the Louvre, Orsay, etc.
Business support is excellent at this hotel. They have free high speed internet in the rooms that is truly high speed (unlike many hotels where high speed is so slow that it can be painful) - T1 to T3 speeds. They have printers and computers and wireless in the lobby. When our internet in our room went bad one evening on the last night of our stay, they came up with extra cables and then switched us to a brand new room to fix it. This was on a Sunday night as well - very impressive!
Service is top notch. The reception desk is welcoming and very responsive. They will book restaurant reservations, called around for us to try to find interpreters for a business meeting, arranged a wine opener for us when we went out and got some cheese and wine for a little room snack, etc. As noted above, when we had any problem, they addressed it immediately. We are American, and there wasn't one hint of any anti-American bias - they were really very friendly and kind. When we needed to extend our stay two days, they did it even though the hotel was supposed to be full.
Cons -
If you're used to staying at the Four Seasons, there is not the feeling of space and luxury, but then again, the room costs are half the price as well.
Overall, we felt it was very good value for our money and an excellent stay. We would definitely stay here again.

I originally contacted the hotel through their website but couldn't book a promotion. The hotel was gracious enough to contact me directly. We stayed four nights through a very busy time in September. What a delight. The property is recently renovated, very sleek and modern. Our first contact with reception was terrific. After a long trip we were greated in English and ushered to our room promptly.
Our room was amazing. The bed (obviously our first consideration) was king sized, made up with crisp, white sheets with a fluffy comforter. Heaven. The bath was small but with heated marble floors and lots of squeeky clean glass it was terrific.
Breakfast at the hotel was a lovely buffet including hot items, pastries, cold cuts, champagne and a very attentive wait staff. We always had a great start to the day. On our way to start our explorations we usually stopped at the front desk where everyone spoke fluent English and then would make a quick stop at one of the three complimentary computers to check our email for news back home. Then we would step out the door to the metro station right across the street.
I really think that if the K & K had a full service restaurant, it would easily be a four star. There is a lovely little cafe on the corner and a number of interesting restaurants within easy walking distance. All in all, you really can't do better than the K & K. It's a great way to relax and enjoy your stay in Paris.

My wife and I stayed here in early September. This hotel offered everything that I could possibly want in a Paris Hotel. The room was small but quite comfortable and quiet. The free high speed interenet allowed us continuous Skype access. The staff was friendly, responsive and helpful.
As noted in other reviews this hotel is within walking distance of markets, shops and sights. Outside the door are bicycles available for use while in the city.
I would recommend this hotel and staff to any tourist or business person staying in Paris.
Fantastic!

I don't know, maybe I just loved Paris. But I have to think staying in a place that was clean, perfectly comfortable and well situated had a lot to do with our pleasant stay in the city. We checked in too early for our room to be ready, so we walked down the block and had lunch at Cafe Flore. Came back, and were sent to Room 515 (our luggage followed b/c the elevator was too small for everything!). It was small but charming, with a balcony overlooking Blvd. Raspail. Bed comfy, lighting sufficient, working blow dryer. Didn't notice the heated floors, but the big bath towels were nice. It felt like home, not plush paradise, but home. Breakfast was included in our package. Everything was fresh enough and tasty enough, but certainly not decadent. I discovered their "Chocolat Chaud" (hot chocolate) later in the trip, but it was a nice treat every morning. We were worried about how the French would treat Americans after being warned, and the front desk help were the meanest people we met on the whole trip (which was not mean at all, but we met some fabulous Parisians!), but the fact was that they were helpful and efficient. Taxis and wake up calls came on time. We didn't hear any noise besides a bagpipe band walking under our window the first afternoon... We walked everywhere, never felt uneasy or unsafe coming back to this hotel. All in all, it couldn't have been better (maybe a little cheaper!), and we would def stay there again if and when we go back!

My travel Buddy and I only had four days to spend in Paris and we planned to make the most of it. We are so happy we decided to stay at the K and K! The hotel is centrally located (Louvre, Notre Dame and Musee de Orsay are all within walking distance) with the Rue du Bac metro stop right across the street. The rooms are about what you would expect in a European hotel only better. We had two twin beds, a desk, a small table and two chairs, plus adequate clothing storage for two women and it was just perfect. The balcony was a great addition. It was wonderful to sit outside at night with a bottle of wine and reflect on the day. The staff was very helpful and suggested a wonderful place for dinner one night (Le Petite Chaize) that had a prix fix menu that was to die for. The room was spotless, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom had great storage and plenty of hot water. If I had to make a negative comment - the pillows were too soft (smile). I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a great Paris experience. I'll be back!
