Having spent at least 100 nights on the road annually, I can't remember the last time I stayed at a Best Western. Business brought me to Fergus Falls and I booked the Best Western after checking Trip Advisor.
Check in is somewhat methodical if more than 1 check in at the same time. However, the overall facility and the attached "event center" seem pretty clean. The room itself (doubles opening to the pool area) are bland -but very clean. Good channel selection on the TV. Beds are so / so with typical floral bed spreads.
The indoor pool appeared to be sizeable although the hot tub was closed. The bar was big but appeared to cater to a predominantly male crowd. Wine was only available by the small cheap branded bottles.
All in all, not a bad experience. Overall, the hotel was very clean and a decent place to stay.

During the winter storm of April 25th, my wife and co-worker were stranded in Fergus Falls. Luckily, they were able to get reservations to this hotel. When they finally reached the hotel, they had their reservations cancelled due to a processing error. As a result they were turned away. Luckily the AmericInn down the road allowed them to stay in their lobby.
Fault was apparently not found with the hotel through the national chain office.
I do not plan to have faith in this chain again. There are too many other hotels in competition

The staff was friendly and the room was clean. There is a swiming pool and a convention center to meet most anyones needs. The breakfast was average at best, but the eating area clean and bright. Parking was spacious and well lit at night. The ice machine worked a-ok. I would stay here again if the need arose.
neat pool, nice banquet facilities, out-of-the-way locatioon

Stayed here one night as part of a large group of guests for a wedding. Great pool with ping-pong tables and tables for socializing. Be aware, though, some rooms overlook the pool, so that can be a bit noisy at times (the staff is good about asking guests to keep noise down).
Food in banquet hall was okay - servings were small and food quality average. The banquet itself was fabulous - very nice and very new! the patio adjacent to the banquet hall was convenient as well.
Breakfast buffet was an average continental style.

Nice place. Kind of hard to find, even tho' it is right off the interstate. Clean rooms, and an indoor pool shaped like the state of Minnesota, which our kids enjoyed. Complimentary computer in the lobby, and the continental breakfast was generous.
Would return.
