I stayed in this hotel for 3 weeks for business purposes. I had a nice, comfortable, quiet room on the 9th floor. I would stay there again. I would avoid rooms on lower floors near train tracks or street. It is next to bus line to downtown, and convenient to A5 Fwy.

Stayed at the Konferenzhotel in Sept 06 for 3 nights while attending a conference. I contacted the hotel and requested a comfort room on the quiet side of the Hotel. They gave me a room on the 9th floor which was nice and comfortable.
Airliner Bus from Frankfurt Airport stops 100 meters away from the hotel. Railway stationis 140 Meters away as well as a variety of trams.
Hotel Bar is small but o.k. had dinner down town so can't comment about the restaurant.
The Hotel does a fantastic breakfast

We stayed at this hotel in July of 2006 as a stop on the Insight European Breakaway tour. This hotel is in an extremely industrial area with terrible views. The hotel room was a smoking room and pretty dirty. Not a person on our bus has happy with the hotel, and there were many complaints and people wishing to drive an extra 4 hours to get to the next stop rather than staying at that hotel. We ate at the resturant in the hotel which wasn't that bad.We went to use the swimming pool in the basement and found a naked man laying there. In all don't stay in this hotel or Darmstadt for that matter.

The first impression of this hotel is that it is old. However, after spending some time in it, you realize that it was really well made and well kept. The beds are comfortable, the room very clean, and the service is the best you'll find in Germany.(My experience is that Germans aren't used to and certainly don't expect the same level of customer service that Americans do.) My largest complaint with this hotel is the Internet access, none is available in the room. I no longer consider dial-up and option and the only highspeed available is in the lobby through T-Mobile. This hotel is about a 40Euro ride from the Frankfurt aiport, 50Euro ride to downtown Frankfurt, and about 20Euro ride to the other side of Darmstadt. Downtown Darmstadt and the Deutch Telecom campus are both within walking distance but if you chose to take a taxi it would be about 5Euro. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel if you need to be in Darmstadt.

I stayed here in September 2004, having stayed on two previous occasions in the last fifteen years - I also worked here years ago when I was studying German as a student.
This is a reliable, solid business hotel, located close to the train station in Darmstadt and also close to the Autobahn.
Rooms are clean, with comfortable beds, and well appointed bathrooms.
Breakfast is good, with a wide choice of typical European fare.
The hotel bar is a little expensive - pitched at the business market.
Reception staff are helpful - almost as helpful as when I worked there!
I'll stay again when I next need to attend a trade fair in Frankfurt.
