Park Regis, I thought it was kinda backpacker hotel with such tiny lobby. But thank God, the receptionist was kind enough to provide me the room earlier around 9am as I arrived there. Room is not so big, pretty adequate for couples. Bathroom is alright. No bathtubs, nothing fancy. Just a common bathroom. Not much amenities provided so make sure you bring your things. Bed is quite alright, I have good sleep during my stay. No fuss. I got a room facing the main street. It was great. The traffic noise is not as bad as I thought it would be. So just make sure you get a high floor rooms. Mine was at the 13th floor and it was ok. I didnt have problem with weekend or weekday traffic noise thingy during my stay. Receptionists are pretty alright. Nothing much. Just ok. Location is great. Nearby the town hall station. short stroll to woolworth and qvb. It's pretty centralized so you dont have to worry about the location. Don't expect something big or fancy in this hotel. Just adequate. No fuss.

Had a great 9 night stay at the Park Regis Hotel Sydney. Good staff, great location 1 min walk to Town Hall station, across the road to the Museum Station, taxi rank outside the hotel. Heaps of eating places within 5 mins walk. Only problem is the traffic noise, which on Fri & Sat can be quite noisey, the back rooms are a lot quieter than the road facing rooms.

Great location - Sydney CBD. On arrival first impression of entrance thought we had arrived at a Backpackers hotel. However room was very clean and smart (small bathroom). Very little wardrobe facilities. Room very succeptable to outside noise - if only the windows had been double glazed. Arrived on a Saturday night which was definitely the noisiest (horrendous traffic and noise from revellers. Would not recommend staying at weekends;. Staff helpful would not consider staying unless double glazing was installed.
