Stayed at the hotel during the weekend. The location is excellent. Right behind Sungei Wang and next to Low Yat, BB Plaza. Lot 10, Times Square, Pavilion, etc are a mere 5-10 mins walk away. Big coaches will not be able to get into that street so passengers have to drop at the main road and walk a little. The rooms are quite new and reasonable sized. Really value for money. We stayed in adjoining rooms which is convenient for family. The buffet breakfast served at the cafe was nice with selections like lontong, fried noodle, porridge, toast, sausages, potato wedges, fruits, salad, cereal and so on cater for all. Restaurant outlets are available within walking distance. Staff are friendly and helpful. It will be about 10 - 15 mins by taxi to the Chinatown.

We arrived at around 7.30am, rooms not avail until 2pm. They took our bags and we went off for the day and came back at 2pm. Keeping in mind we were traveling with a 14 month old infant and in a group of 10 adults. All rooms were ready but our room with the infant, it was not going to be avail for another hour. We requested they look for another room as the infant needed a sleep.
Our room was clean, cold and yes at times noisy at night from the outdoor entertainment at the Sungei Wang Plaza. We stayed for 3 nights. We had to request each day for extra towels, hand towels, tea bags, coffee etc. as these items were in sparse supply. You also need to be extremely careful and lock everything away as we had a packet of cigarettes stolen from the room whilst we were out. Location is fantastic. Also if you accidently leave something behind don't expect to ever see it again..... all the emails in the world will not be answered.
I might consider staying there again ..... checking out other hotels in close proximity.

We stayed here for 1 night before an early morning flight out. We were on the 10th floor - near the bars - music did play until late - but what made it worse was my alarm was set for 3.30 so was conscious of that!
There services was excellent - staff very helpful, the room was clean and modern.
Could not fault this - stayed at the Parkroyal when we returned - though the Capitol is rated less, it provded a far superior stay!!

We stayed at the Hotel Capitol for 3 nights in April 08; the location of the Hotel is excellent, very close to shopping malls, taxis and trains. The rooms although on the small side, were very clean and tidy and well presented. The only down side for us was the Karaoke bar at the back of the hotel which seemed to get louder as the night went on.
