The TA reviews on the Tour Eiffel TImhotel were mixed. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was horrible; I feel somewhat responsible that we ended up in the room since I asked to relocate from our original room (located right at the top of the second floor stairs--- the top stair landing was the room'sdoor). I was concerned we'd be bothered at night by late-arriving guests so I asked the staff to move our room. Huge mistake. The front desk told me they couldn't "vouch" for the relocated room. That should have told me something. But we had just arrived in Paris from three rather sleepless nights in Brugges (due to late-night hallway loudmouths) so I just wanted a little peace and quiet. The room was so ridiculously bad that my husband and I were afraid to have the bed blanket touch our skin. We needed to contort our bodies to get into the climb-up shower (and I'm petite and I barely into the shower opening). We are laughing about it now; we were not laughing then. So long review short? Skip this hotel; book another and drink as much fabulous Sancerre wine as you can!

A horrible experience. We booked for six nights but left after one night. The room was tiny (even by European standards) and it smelt old. The receptionist was making fun of us to another staff member and when we said we knew what she said, she as good as called us liars. I wouldn't return even if the room was free.

We wanted a hotel which was within our budget, close to metro, clean and walking distance to main attractions. This hotel was perfect! Easy to find (not sure what the other review was talking about!) It's a 2-3 minute walk from Duplexi station, with only one turn. The metro station was great, access to most lines required for the main attractions. Also hotel was 10-15min stroll to the tower, passing many shops along the way to grab that morning coffee and chocolate crossiant! Room was clean, including bathroom and sheets. No problems with noise or staff. Yes room was small, but if you are looking to enjoy the sights of Paris and not hang out in your room, this was great

We had a happy stay hear. Close to metro and a short walk to the tower. The Hotel was clean and relaxing.The staff friendly with good English. Turn left out out of Hotel and places to eat near by. We felt very safe in the area. Would stay again.
