Stay at New World Hotel for 2 nights on a company holiday trip. This is suppose to be a 5 star hotel. But am quite disappointed in the standard. The hotel location is great. Service is good. Staff is friendly. But for a 5 star hotel, i would have greater expectation for it. The breakfast is so-so not very fantastic. The room is normal. Dun feel like a 5 star hotel room. I would reconsider staying there again fo the price although the overall experience is Ok.

Great hotel...very friendly staff... Modern, western style amenities... We stayed there for several days in May for an adoption trip...very helpfull staff....Great restaurants, breakfast... Highly recomended...

Thanks to you all at New World hotel, TUN Travel, I booked New World hotel throught it . My wife and I stayed 4 days at the New World Hotel, and was very impressed with the perfect service and very nice rooms. The foods were really delicious and palatable. The prices were really affordable. We had a problem (nothing to do with the hotel and the TUN Travel, we was being scammed from the taxi airport), and asked the TUN Travel's manager for help she called a contact in police, and together we got my money back! That was great!

Stayed here twice in the last 3 mths. This is a 4+* business hotel located in district 1. It's a convenient place to stay at for both leisure and business travellers. The Ben Thanh market is within walking distance from the hotel and you can just about go anywhere in district 1 within 10 min by taxi (just 1 USD). Have stayed in both the deluxe rooms and the executive floor rooms. The rooms are quite similar except that on the executive floor, you get access to a club lounge where breakfast, evening canapes(almost like a mini dinner buffet)) and some free printing. Service here is not too bad but like all 4+/5* hotels in HCM, the rooms rates are very high. For US$200, it's not really good value compared to hotels elsewhere but in HCM city, it's quite reasonable. Don't try the massage at the fitness centre though. I had one of the worst massages of my life here.... Tried quite a number of massages in HCM and this is definitely the worst! in fact terrible!

This hotel is the most strategic hotel in case you love to shop in vietnam. it's a walking distance to the great shopping places in ho chi minh. the hotel staffs are so friendly, the food is average. the rooms are cozy. and most of all the price is very reasonable.
