Service excellent, rooms were in good shape and nice bathrooms. We stayed on the 24th floor in an executive room which offered entry to the Executive Lounge. Here you could drink any time through the day or night, which is included within the room price. There is free bar between 18.00 and 20.00, where beer, wine, cocktails and soft drinks are served.
The room is spotlessly clean, and with a fantastic view of the Chao Phraya. Wow!! Every guest room is river view.
We miss a great dinner cruise that hotel is serviced. Once on board the Montienthip, we enjoy an pre-dinner cocktail, before dining on dishes of Thai cuisine. They also serve Western specialities . Classical Thai dancers and musicians complete this scene . We had a great time.
Have stayed elsewhere in Bangkok and this would be top of the list. Would definitely recommend this hotel to both friends, family and travellers alike.

We were originally booked in for 2 nights hoping to chill out before our return to Malta (12 hours). However due to other circumstances we stayed there for 8 nights.
My first impressions of the hotel were up to expectations. The Atrium was beyond belief, the staff were very attentive, polite, which was to be expected with a 5* hotel. The client was treated as a first class citizen coming first in all aspects. Nothing was too much for them.
The restaurants were great and menus were varied with a wide choice of dishes to whet the appetite whatever your requirements.
We would certainly stay at this hotel if ever we visited Bangkok.
Highly recommended.

This hotel is really lovely, the hotel staff are all very helpful although beware, any phonecalls concierge make for you e.g booking restaurants etc they will charge you for. The breakfast isn't cheap, I think about ?9 and it's not amazing. The bacon is "american" style streaky and the sausages are "german" style. But all in all I couldn't complain.
This hotel is situated in the business district, there is a free shuttle bus to their sister hotel the Montien which is right opposite a night market in the heart of Bangkok and the action. I think this runs every half hour but if you want to stay out particularly late at night you might come a cropper. It is also advisable to book your place on this.
As it is slightly out of the centre, the rooms a pretty big for a city hotel. The bathroom was also lovely with a separate bath and shower. In terms of how grand it is, it is worth it's star rating although it is nothing compared to the Oriental, Peninsular, Shangrilar etc. Although because it isn't as big as these hotels, service is more personal. The surrounding area isn't also as bleak!
Would recommend!!

I stayed in this hotel for two nights in late March. This was my first time in Bangkok. I had booked an executive suite which had excellent views up and down river. Very good standard of accommodation. The hotel is very grand. Breakfast was a choice of the continental breakfast on the executive floor with great views (this room was never busy) or in the general dining room downstairs (which I did not try). The hotel is down river from the city centre and a bit removed from the busyness of all the general Bangkok mayhem! There are shuttle buses to facilitate travellers to the skytrain and the sister hotel the Montien. Taxis are also plentiful and cheap. In summary, this is a great choice of hotel for someone who wants a quiet stylish hotel on the river but within striking distance of the city centre attractions. Recommended.
