A friend and I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. We travelled by Eurostar then metro to the hotel. The metro station is directly opposite the hotel, so easy for travelling during our holiday. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and well presented - a bit small but we expected this. For a 3* hotel this was very good (having stayed in a 3* in Rome which was dreadful). The breakfast was perfectly adequate and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly - all spoke good English. It is in a lovely area with very reasonably priced food and drink (14Euros for a bottle of wine and Chinese meal for 2). I would recommend this hotel and would go there again.

Fantastic hotel.
Clean throughout. The staff speak excellent English and could not have been more helpful. The receptionist even advised us about the best routes to landmarks avoiding rough areas.
We arrived early and as our room was ready we were allowed to check in straight away.
Literally straight outside the Volontaires Metro station it is so easy to get around Paris from the hotel. We were on the third floor and there was a bit of noise from the trains but it was hardly noticeable.
Breakfast was plentiful and fresh.
If I was to return to Paris I would definitely stay here again

The Good:
- great location since the metro station "Volontaires" is directly across from the hotel's entrance.
- it's about a 20 to 30 minute walk from the hotel to the Eiffel Tower
- most of the staff is friendly
The Bad:
- didn't try the breakfast because it was too ridiculously priced (12 Euros)
- you had to leave the weird looking card-key with the person at the front desk when you left the hotel
- when we left the hotel and paid, they tried to overcharge us and argued that we had stayed for the breakfast for the 4 nights we were there; we were very angry about that as it showed disorganization or cheating on their part!
- the rooms are tiny (we had a two bed suite) and the water in the tub never drained fast enough, so watch out for flooding the bathroom!
