This is a HORRIBLE hotel. WE HAD to stay there because it was a last resort we were traveling with our dog and this hotel which is definitely a HOSTEL allowed us to bring our dog. The elevators smelled from Body Odor.The rooms are tiny the bathroom is the size of an airplane bathroom and just a hose as a shower. The carpets were stained up, the beds were like lounge mats for a pool area. The STAFF is so rude when we checked in the Owner was so nice B UT we had a problem during our last night we needed heat because the room was cold they sent a guy who did not undstand and he said he fixed the heat I took a pill to go to sleep my Mom was up all night it was freezing when I woke up in the morning I called to have the heat fixed they sent two men it took an hour and when I checked out I asked if they could give me a discount because I stayed 8 days and the room was so cold the last night the DESK MGR I would not call him a man his name is Avi after arguing he first said I will deduct three days parking which was a total of about $ 18.00 I said that was not fair then he said about $ 40.00 I called MasterCard in front of him and when I said OK to the $ 40.00 he said No full price so they say one thing do another . Anyone can feel free to email me I can show you my bill my addr ess is DKaye78389@aol.com it was a flithy place very very dirty they do not like American Jews sAvi treated us like garbage because we were two women alone he talked a good game during our stay but when we checked out he was like a woman lied about giving us a discount he is a mean man and the Owner hid the whole time. I am disputing it with MasterCard . There are plenty of other places we paid $ 146.00 plus $ 6.95 parking everytime you needed to get a parking space or leave you had to wait for someone to unlock a chain which took up to 20 minutes. Do yourseld a favor it is so dirty and the beds are like mats the bathroom is so small it is horrible

From the amenities and the location the Basel Hotel is good but nothing special, the price is reasonable. Where they really score is their outstanding service. Every wish was fulfilled with a smile, WiFi is free, and when parking was a problem the staff let us park our car in their already full employee garage. I can only recommend this hotel and would definately stay there again.

Después de un largo vuelo, tenía ganas de descansar y relajarme en un hotel agradable. Escogí este por su ubicación, conveniente adonde yo necesitaba ir. Cuando llegué al hotel, la recepción no fue muy acogedora. No me ayudaron con el equipaje a mi habitación. Había pedido una habitación tranquila. Cuando abrí la puerta de mi habitación, encontré una habitación muy oscura con vista a un edificio decrépito a una corta distancia. Los muebles parecían ser de una venta de garaje de un dormitorio abandonado. La cobertura de la cama parecía muy vieja y usada. El baño era angosto. La tina tenía agarraderas para ayudar a los inválidos. Pedí otra habitación, pero la única otra disponible olía a moho. Aunque tenía una vista parcial al mar, me quedé con la que no olía mal que me dieron inicialmente. Me iba a hospedar allí unos cuantos días hasta que mi horario lleno se aclaró. Después de haber estado allí un día más o menos, descubrí que la razón por el ambiente depresivo del hotel era que el hotel también se usa como un lugar de recuperación para gente que ha salido de cirugía. Encantador. Esto lo deberían incluir en la descripción del hotel. También me cobraron como 30% más cuando hice el check out. Al final de mi estancia, me pasé al Yamit Park Plaza, y me hospedé en la nueva planta. Costaba lo mismo, y era muy agradable. El personal y las habitaciones eran estupendos. ¡Hazte un favor, y evita el Basel Hotel!

El vestíbulo del hotel es bonito, y la recepcionista fue amable. Las habitaciones son pequeñas, y no son muy limpias. Dejaron un zapato debajo de la cama del dueño anterior, y no estoy segura qué tan a recientemente aspiraron la habitación. El aire acondicionado fue agradable y potente. La televisión tiene muchos canales. Pudimos acceder al Internet inalámbrico gratis. El desayuno estuvo fabuloso. La ubicación es buena para el precio. Solo cruzas la calle y bajas las gradas a una playa estupenda. Son tres para una silla. Es gratis si solo quieres sentarte en tu toalla. El acceso a la playa es la mejor característica del hotel. También queda cerca al viejo muelle, el cual tiene buenos restaurantes, etc. Probablemente no me volvería a hospedar aquí, pero es bueno para aquellos que quieren estar cerca de la playa pero no se quieren hospedar en el más caro Sheraton o Hilton cruzando la calle.

L'hôtel bénéficie d'un excellent rapport qualité / prix ! Certes, les chambres sont petites et la salle de bains minuscule, mais bon, on ne part pas en vacances pour rester dans sa chambre d'hotel. Points forts de l'hotel : le personnel aimable et prêt à rendre service, la piscine qui rend bien service lorsque l'on a pas envie de subir le soleil de la plage en continue, le bar du lobby qui propose boissons et patisseries pour un prix modique pour un hotel, la nourriture très bonne dans la salle à manger. Dans les chambres, le refrigérateur est la et fonctionne bien, une television avec des chaines satellites, le coffre fort (en location certes mais 1,50$ par jour ce n'est pas énorme). Le linge de maison est propre, une bouilloire, du café, du thé et des tasses sont à disposition dans la chambre, nosu avons même eu droit à un cadeau de bienvenue : des bouteilles d'eau, des biscuits apéritifs et des barres au chocolat ! Points faibles : les ascenceurs sont petits et lents. le bar du lobby ferme à 21h (une ou deux heures de plus pourraient être nécessaires). Le ménage est un peu fait de façon superficielle (ex : la porte du placard renfermant le refrigérateur est bien propre, par contre la porte du réfrigérateur est poussierreuse), les fenetres meritent un nettoyage plus régulier. Dommage aussi que la salle à manger soit en sous-sol. Et il serait agreable de chauffer un peu l'eau de la piscine ! En souhaitant un bon séjour à toutes les personnes qui vont y aller !
