My daughter and I stayed at the hotel for two nights at the beginning of our trip, and booked it for two nights at the end. For both stays, we requested a room with a shower and two single beds. During the first booking we were given a very small room, but it was adequate and it had what we requested. At the end of our stay in Italy, we arrived at the Hotel Condotti and were given a converted attic room without a shower. We had to walk through dirty laundry on the stairs to get to our room. When we complained that the room was unacceptable, we were told it was too bad, they nothing else for us, and were charging us for the night. The staff was extremely rude and discourteous which was worse than the room itself. After much complaining were were offered another accomodation that was not acceptable to two women traveling alone. Therefore, we were forced to stay at least one night in the attic room, without the shower.
This is not a 3 star hotel, it' is more of a 1 star. It is not worth the location to have to endure rudeness when the hotel made an error. Stay somewhere else, even if it costs you a few more Euro.

We stayed for 3 days in December in Hotel Condotti and loved it from the very first minute. Its excellent location, fantastic service and cosy rooms make it an ideal place for a weekend getaway. Think is a very good value for money, considering that it is a small, boutique style hotel (which we like) and a very good location. Francesca was always very helpful. Thank you for a fantastic weekend in Rome, will definitely return.

Four of us went to Rome, me, my husband, and best friends on November 22nd 07 for 3 nights. We stayed at the Hotel Condotti. This is a lovely hotel, small but really cosy and in a great location close to the famous shops and spanish steps.
The rooms are lovely furnished with a good size bathroom, dressing table, tv and mini bar. The towels were changed everyday for us, which is always a bonus. The only bad point about our room was that we were at the front of the hotel on the first floor and it got a little noisy first thing in the morning, deliveries to the shops and near by restaurant, otherwise the hotel is great. The front desk staff are really pleasant and always there to help with a smile on their face. The breakfast is not up to much, small room downstairs. We found that it was better to go out and find a nice coffee shop etc for breakfast and watch Rome wake up!!
All in all I would certainly go back to Rome and Hotel Condotti, it was a very enjoyable weekend.

This is a great hotel, and I second the opinions from the reviewer on 12/26. You can't beat the location, and the hotel staff are EXCELLENT. Breakfast is nothing spectacular, but it's included in the rate and sufficient. Yes, the rooms are small - but you're staying near the Spanish Steps for a very good rate.
I stayed at this hotel 7 years ago as well, and continue to be impressed with the service and value.

We stayed at Condotti for 4 days at the beginning of our 2 week trip to Italy and then again 3 days at the end. We weren't sure where we were staying at the end of our trip, but we had such a good experience at the beginning of our trip that we decided to come back. Though some reviewers were unhappy with the fact that the rooms were around the corner from reception and that they had to walk a few feet to a coffee bar for breakfast we found this of no inconvenience at all. If you travel at all in Europe you understand that rooms are far smaller than in the U.S. We found the rooms clean and comfortable. We actually stayed both in the hotel proper and the rooms around the corner. While those around the corner are newer, the ones in the hotel proper are more charming. They're older and less ample than the newer ones. If you stay in the hotel itself, breakfast is served in the basement. If you're looking for that kind of convenience, you should ask if you can stay at the hotel itself. Otherwise, breakfast is pretty similar in both places (you serve yourself at the hotel; are served at the coffee bar). The lady making the coffees in the basement is a lovely soul with a beautiful voice which she uses to sing some beautiful notes.
We recommend this place for people who know what to expect when traveling abroad. It is a nice little oasis.
We found the folks to be very helpful and kind. There was a young woman who was particularly helpful and with a wonderful New York accent when speaking English.
