This is a great little hotel. Rooms are large. We stayed in a jacuzzi room and it was huge. For five or six dollars more than a standard get one. The rooms are very clean and the king bed was very comfortable. The breakfast is ample if simple: eggs, sausage, canned fruit, toaster waffles, juice, etc.. There is free internet for your computer. The staff is friendly. There is also a medium sized pool and jacuzzi. For a place to stop on your way to Black Hills or for a visit to Mitchell, this is highly recommended. For $65-70 it's really tough to beat. I gave it five stars, heavily rating it for value.

I personally called and did a credit card guarantee for a room for my boyfriend. I specifically asked for a smoking room. The young lady booked the room and gave me a confirmation number. After he had ridden a 1,000 miles in under 24 hours on a motorcycle, he goes to check in. He is informed that the entire hotel is non smoking. As it was the only room available in Mitchell at that point, he took the room anyway. Once he got to the room he found that the hotel only changes the linens every 3 days. To me this could be considered just not a good business practice. I don't know about anyone else but I consider the clean linens every night one of the reasons that I am willing to pay more for a hotel room.
