We stayed here for most of a week and would definitely return. For $143 a night you get a decent sized remodeled room with breakfast next door at the Ruby Tuesdays. Breakfast in town can easily set back a family of four $40, so do the math. The only problem with breakfast was that the toasters didn't work properly, leading to long lines at the breakfast buffet and some tempers. When confronted about this, the manager gave us $40 in vouchers for our last breakfast at an affiliated sit-down restaurant. Nice gesture. The pool was delightful, and the location? A block from the Falls, and across the street from the arcade where the kids entertained themselves for hours and hours. For a family, this is DEFINITELY the place to stay in Niagara Fall, Ontario. Think of all the money you'll save, to spend instead on $4 hot dogs, $4 ice creams, and overpriced attractions!

We visited the Travelodge By the Falls after having been telling our friends that we wanted to visit Niagara Falls Canada, we knew some of our friends had stayed and asked them if they had an recommendations, after having taken their advice I decided to contact the Travelodge By the Falls, the front desk person who answered my call was very helpful since I had what felt like a million questions, it was going to be our first trip to the falls we wanted to me sure we were going to be right where all the action was. The front desk person was patient and answered all the questions I had with honest suggestions to the main attractions and what was located around their hotel. I had called a few places for pricing before and attempted asking them questions about their property and their responses were always rushed or rude, this was not the case with their staff . When we arrived we were greeted instantly it kind of through me off because I wasn't expecting to be addressed like I was, they were very pleasant and helpful, although I remember most of what I had asked on the phone I still had other questions when I arrived. We checked in which was great it went smoothly, they didn't throw a lot of information at us, they also offered for us to call down or come down if we needed directions or help with anything during our stay. We got into our room and it was nice, the air conditioner was already on keeping the room cool and you could just smell how clean it was in the air, I was very happy that we decided on staying with them plus their location is where all the action is but just far enough away that you weren't rushed around either. We started unpacking and our room phone rang and my husband answered and he was just floored when he hung up he said that they were calling to make sure that we were comfortable in the room and everything was what we expected, he just had a big smile on his face, we had never had that before at a hotel. We explored the hotel they had a nice pool and sauna they also had a gift shop, I was really surprised when we checked it out and the prices were reasonable a lot of the shops we visited in the area had outrageous prices, with their low prices we were able to bring back gifts with out spending a lot of money. Also the hotel had its own breakfast place, the food was sooooo good! I was even happier I could just ride the elevator down and eat. They also helped us book our bus tour around the falls and booked our dinner reservations at various restaurants in the area. Overall I loved my stay and loved the area, now I can't really picture staying at another hotel for our vacation because it truly was great, and we felt comfortable staying with them and would love to stay again soon.

Stayed one night here because of it's low price. the impression when we walked in is that the hotel seems to be renovated (lobby, elevators, hallways) and clean. Went to 3rd floor, room is average size and clean. However, the two queen beds are quite firm and uncomfortable. We woke up having a little sore neck and back after being used to having pillow top mattress at home. Indoor pool is small but adequate and theres hot tub which was decent and set at the right temperature. On the contrary, the country inn (no.1 here on TA) hot tub, was too hot for my liking. $69 is not bad for this hotel on a Friday night, but no complimentary BF (there is a cafeteria downstairs though) and parking is $8/day. If you're looking for a budget, decent and clean place this is the place to go, but I may not come back due to the firm mattresses. I can manage with it but not the wife. When you check-in make sure you present your CAA/AAA card for additional 10% discount. They don't ask you for this, you have to ask yourself. The discount literally pays for the parking fee.

For a weekend trip it was nice. For the price you can't complain to much, just your average clean hotel and thats all I ask for so it was good, bring your own pillows, these ones were very lumpy, and towels well a little abrasive. Overall good rooms to stay in, I would stay here again.

Excellent Location by the falls, Great Value

This is an excellent hotel close to everything you want to do. The falls is a short walk away along with the Casino and Clifton Hill. The hotel room was very clean with the staff able to help you with directions if needed. My wife and I wanted a good restaurant that the locals eat at. I don't like to eat where the tourist's eat and they gave us a couple of options. I'd stay there again if I return to Niagara FAlls. Very good value for your money. By far the nicest Travel Lodge I've ever stayed at.
