The Travelodge on King Streeet West. In fashion district with some trendy restaurants on one side, and on another side (a couple blocks away) area that is lower income. Overall would absolutely stay at it again. People were nice; few walks away from China Town!

We checked into this hotel in the middle of the night, because of a security issue at the hotel (Days Inn) we had originally checked into. We were 4 girls in our mid-twenties in Toronto for one night to see the Spice Girls. I phoned the Travelodge, and was greeted by a very kind man working the front desk at midnight. He was cautious about why we needed to check in at midnight, and when I explained to him the reason, he was very comforting and told us to come over right away. He gave us a huge room with 2 queen size beds, a discounted rate, extra towels...all without us saying a word. We returned home to Ottawa well rested and feeling better about our experience in Toronto. I will stay here again.
Expensive for a Travelodge...but worked for me!

It's my understanding that the whole point of staying at a Travelodge is that it's generally cheap...this hotel wasn't cheap by Travelodge standards but I guess for the area it was in, it was a pretty good deal nonetheless.
It was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful AND knowledgeable about the area (unlike the Travelodge in Atlanta I recently stayed at), the breakfast had juice, toast, muffins, cereal, etc. and not just terrible Little Debbie-type pastries and doughnuts (like the Travelodge in Florida I stayed at), the rooms opened into the hallway rather than the motel-type floor plan typical of most Travelodge's AND it was walking distance to everything. There were tons of restaurants, cafes, and everything else in the area. A great deal. Stay here, you won't be disappointed.

A good place to stay, only a 15-20 minute walk from Yonge Street. The room itself was surprisingly large and very clean, though the bathroom was a bit of a squeeze, but the fridge was a definite plus.
Having read earlier reviews complaining about the breakfasts, i thought it was actually pretty good - a basic though quite tasty selection.

Abbastanza buono

Questo posto andava proprio bene. Toronto è un po' costosa ma considerato il rapporto qualità/prezzo questo albergo non era male. Peraltro è in buona posizione, a 5 minuti dal centro.
