I came to Yuma on business. Every hotel in the city was booked solid so this was supposed to be the best available alternative. I came with low expectations. Those low expectations were pretty much on par with reality.
The room was not quite as dirty as I had expected, to be fair. Meaning, it was properly dusted and vacuumed. On the other hand, the carpet was filthy from age and I didn't feel comfortable walking bare-foot anywhere. The bedsheets were not the worst I've ever seen in the world, but I did have to sleep with a full-sleeve shirt on. (I actually brought my sleeping bag just in case, but didn't feel the need to go that far, if that tells you anything). Another friend of mine who also got stuck at the hotel for the same trip told me she slept with her hooded sweatshirt on with the hood pulled up over her head, and long-legged pajamas, so there was no contact with the bedding. The furniture looked dirty, also from age. The basic problem here is not that the room itself is dirty per se, but that everything is so old that the filth that naturally comes with age is apparent on everything: bedsheets, carpet, couch, toilet, the shower.
The bathroom was not totally disgusting. I did find one curly hair from a previous guest on the shower wall that would have required a simple wipe by personnel to remove.
The Internet access worked great with my laptop, for which I was thankful. Despite everything I will say that I got a good night's sleep and was well-rested when I woke up the next morning.
The staff were friendly.
But I wouldn't stay here again by choice.

I want to give a fair review..this is a 2 star Motel the rating is reflected in the price,so if you read a review on another site keep in mind this is not a 5 star Hotel. The price was reasonable. My room did not match,Re: drapes, bedspreads, chairs sometimes that is your first impression. The bathroom floor was a bit dusty a few tiny hairs.Sink, toilet clean.Coffee pot needed dusting as well as A/C unite.Soap, toilet paper tissues wrapped cups provided.
Small breakfeast in office of fruit, store wrapped nice muffins, coffee, mostly for on the go.There are no tables as in large Hotels.I found the office staff friendly to both my husband and I.The pool looked clear,I saw a regular pool service check it while I did some laundry near the pool..(washer hooked to soft water.)A hose could have been put away and some leaves picked up though.I saw staff members washing sheets & towels in a seperate laundry room when I asked for extra they were warm and smelled clean. This would be a choice for a night or two or budget minded traveler. It is on a well traveled road but most all the Motels and Hotels are.Palm trees out front cute&picnic tables.
