Prior to renovation, was disappointing and not what you expect from a Taj. Now, however, it is very respectable with an excellent restaurant being its best feature. Rooms are very nice and far more inkeeping with Taj standard, though the gym/sauna facilities are still very poor and in need of a spruce up.

The hotel was recommended by the firm I was visiting in Vadodara. I arrived at the hotel around 6:00 pm, but I was told my room was not ready, and I had to wait for about 15 minutes in the lobby. They offered something to drink while I waited. The room and bathroom was spacious, and there was a balcony with a table and a couple of chairs. I didn't use it at all because there were so many bird droppings... The wireless internet service was available but during the evening hours I was not able to get connected and stay connected at all. In the early morning hours, there were no problems. They have a fitness center with a few cardio equipment and weight machines, and steam room.

This is a very nice hotel. Stayed here on a business trip. Service is excellent ... food is yummy ... staff are friendly and professional.

Nice Hotel, every thing was Clean & Tidy, staff good, food good. Our room was not ready when we got there but were offered another room until our one was ready. The only problem I had was that the front desk would only recommend their own Taxi service, as I was told that the city does not have general taxi's.

The hotel is just great. Rooms are very spacious and all the things you need you will find there. Breakfast was good. The pool looks nice (couldn't try, arrived there late). As one of the two htoels in Vadodara this one certainly is a great option!
