Stayed their recently. What I liked:I liked the front desk staff, and the bell boys. I like the fact that the desk staff is very helpful. The hotels location for me is a plus. I liked where it was located. Right across from the subway station 3 1/2 blocks to the beah. 2 supermakets, 1 good by the kilo restaurant, and close the N & S Copa Ave, for all the shopping. The roof top pool has a great view and the pool is quite nice to hang in and have a beer. The breakfast buffet is very good and thats thrown in. The hotel has wired internet the cable's that we normally use did not work but the hotel provided one for me. Note all the controls for the room operate on a board behind your bed. A/C, lights, and TV, and radio all from here. What I didn't like:I didn't like that I booked a Queen size bed and what I got stuck with was two twin beds. Front desk couldn't do anything for me I should have called expedia. I got taken advantage of at the bar at the hotel. I picked out a bottle of wine, then was charged more, bartender switched the bottles. Internet was expensive, the restaurants lunch buffet is also overpriced. Ask in advance for a room thats not on Siquirio street side if possible always very noisy, busy street, with lots of bus's lined up. Bottom line:For the price you can not beat this place.

My wife and me loved the hotel, the localization is good just 4 blocks from the beach. Loved the service, clean rooms, with a great view of Corvocado in front of the busy street (Siqueira Campos st.). We just recommend since is good for value!

We just returned from Rio, where we stayed at the Hotel Atlantico Copacabana. Our room faced the back of the Hotel away from the busy street, so we found it very quiet. We thought the hotel was very good value for the price. Rooms were very clean and the buffet breakfast (included in the price) was very good. The rooftop pool was lovely and the views of the city from there are great. Good location - about 3 or 4 blocks from Copacabana Beach. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of a group tour. The hotel was booked by the tour company. It was the best hotel of the whole tour, very well located, our room was a good size and very clean and comfortable - it also had a small sitting area. The maids were very efficient and had made our beds and changed the towels by the time we had had breakfast each day. The breakfast was really good, lots of choice. The Reception area and bar were very nice, as were all the staff I had dealings with. I would definitely recommend this hotel as good value for money and would stay there again.

Our stay at the Hotel Atlantico can only be described as a tremendous success. we booked a triple room which had a small area for seating (good storage for all of our bags). The piece de resistance however, is the rooftop pool - not a large pool - but clean and plenty of beds along with an area to sit and have lunch, should you wish to do so. The location - three blocks from the beach along with the buzz of being in copocobana really gives you a great sense of living in this wonderful city. The breakfast - a sumptious feast of fruit, cereals, egg + bacon, breads, cakes, juices - will set you up for a day of sunbathing and sight seeing. The staff are not going to wear you out with chat but they are helpful when you need it and there is a wonderful car service available - we hired a car to pick us up from the airport - my friend thought he had lost his brand new Ray Ban sunglasses on the plane - but shortly after we checked in the driver arrived back to the hotel to hand in the sunglasses - he had found them on the back seat after we left!!! We were totally disarmed by this dispay of honesty and we used this car service for all of our sightseeing trips thereafter!!
