Great location to Lackland AFB!!!

If you are attending BMT graduation at Lackland AFB this is a great place to stay! Keep in mind that this is an older hotel ~ so don't expect it to be a Hilton. That said, my room was clean, the staff was friendly, the bed was comfortable and the price was right. I could see the AFB Dorms from my room! If you're in San Antonio to see your Airman you're not really going to be spending much time in your hotel ~ you just need a place to go back to at night and sleep. Which is what I did ~ I spent most of my time either on base or in town and was only at the hotel at night. If my son is ever stationed at Lackland AFB I would stay here again. We just returned from a trip to San Antonio for 5 days to see our daughter graduate from the Air Force boot camp. I recommend this motel to family and friends with a total of 7 rooms being rented. IT was Horrible, I was totally embarrassed not only was the rooms not joined like i ask and with double beds they were charged an extra &10.00 to move. and one room didn't even have heat. The second day that we were there NO HOT WATER..... I called at 7am and still at 11am nothing finally someone came and still no HOT WATER and mind you it was 29 degrees outside. Finally the roaches were in the bed with you. I would not recommend this roach motel to anyone weather on a budget or not its not worth it.

We read the reviews before we booked, and our stay was not as bad as they said. I would totally reccommend staying here! Our stay was very enjoyable! The property is very clean! Very close to Base! We stayed for one night to visist our son at Lackland for Thanks Giving. The room had a smoke smell in it and the bed was very uncomfortable. The location was the best part of all. The staff were pleasent and helpful. I hope they will invest in improving the overall condition of the facility, it would be an outsatanding place to stay if one is visting the base, but i could not recommend this hotel to someone.

The only good thing i can say is that's close to base other then that it is a dump, towel was dirty, rooms smell bad, mattress had a hole in the middle of the bed and the last room the lock was broken, and had to push your way in, the staff was no so nice the breakfast area was small and dirty i would rethink this one.
