Check-in was hassle-free. We arrived about an hour before the 3:00pm check-in, but the front desk person, Tiffany, had no problems with checking us in.
The room was clean, but there was a small stain on one of the pillow cases, but since there was an abundance of pillows (9 in all), we just set that one aside. Wireless Internet reception was very good. No problems there; however, some of the TV channels, particularly ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, and ESPN Classic had unpredictable reception, much to my dismay.
There were a fastfood restaurant and a gas satation/mini-mart withtin a one block walking distance of the hotel. If you do walk, be advised that there are no paved sidewalks. Also, when crossing the streets, you really have to hustle because traffic is very busy and dangerous.
There is a Light Rail station also within one block of the hotel. It is very convenient to catch it to Orioles Park/Camden Yards. We chose to drive our car to the Yards, a mere 5 miles away.
Overall, the stay was good; it served the purpose (Orioles Baseball game). We would in all likelihood stay there again.

We stayed here during a trade show in Baltimore - it was the only place left with availability. It's your basic hotel - clean enough, large bathroom, comfortable bed. The continental breakfast is substantial - bagels, toast, coffee, fruit salad, cereal, yogurt. While it's far away from Baltimore proper, one thing they did well was transportation. They have free shuttles that run regularly to and from BWI Airport and the Amtrak train station at BWI. Service was fine and courteous. If you need a place to sleep, this one will do.

Upon arrival, Sleep Inn and Suites seemed like your average hotel. Once I checked into my room I found that the light bulb in the bathroom blew, the smoke detector was hanging out of the ceiling, and you could hear everything on both sides of you. I tried to order a movie to drown out my neighbors and the movies didn't work! I had to have it credited to my account because the screen kept jumping.
Breakfast is a selection of bagels and cereals, no eggs, bacon or anything like that just in case that is what you think when you see the banners everywhere - they aren't for the hotel, they are for a restaurant next door, which you must pay for. In addition, the woman who keeps the breakfast area going was completely miserable, and stood in everyone's way as they were trying to get food, and then had the nerve to throw an attitude about people bumping into her. It was quite obvious to everyone that she hates her job!
As if this isn't all bad enough, the front desk people were rude beyond belief. Everytime I called to ask them a question they acted as if I was inconveniencing them. The printer in the computer area was out of toner and I was told that "yep, they are waiting for it, don't know when it will be here" and that was that. One might think they would offer to let me use their copier or printer but that did not happen.
I am military and was put up at this hotel while I awaited a flight to the Middle East for a deployment. My flight didn't leave until 9 at night. I asked if I could have a late, 4pm check out. I was told that I would have to pay for another night unless I checked out by 2. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told that the manager works 7-7 but at 11am had still not come in, that they show up when they feel like it. On top of that, she was very quick to tell me that the manager would tell me the same thing so there was no point in waiting to talk to anyone else. Apparently, despite their many yellow ribbons in support of the military, they could really care less about making my last experience before I leave a good one.
They have tons of awards around for great customer service. All I can figure is that they have a friend on the awards board. This was a terrible experience and I hope that no other person, military or otherwise, has to experience the unacceptable service that I experienced.

I stayed in Room 311 and the refrigerator wasn't turned on. I didn't know that until Sunday morning when I took the food and drink that I purchased the previous night out of it. Needless to say, it was ruined. I gave the front desk worker the food so that she could see that the food was indeed warm coming directly from the refrigerator.
Secondly, we had an adjoining room and th guests in the other room had children who were up before 8 a.m. and were really loud. Not only were the children loud, the parents (adults) were yelling at them. The front desk worker told me that someone else had made the same complaint.
Lastly, I turned on the shower at 11:36 a.m. and the water did not get hot until 11:42 a.m. We called to the front desk, they said they would send someone up, but they never came. Not to mention that we didn't have an ironing board or iron in the room. Someone did come to bring one though.
I voiced my complaints to the front desk clerk, who in turn gave me the General Manager's name. I called to speak with her and she told me I should've turned the refrigerator on. Now, I've never stayed in a hotel where I had to turn the refrigerator on, nor did anyone tell me that I had to. She then told me that she's stayed at many hotels and that she has had to turn the refrigerator on. I told her that's not important, but the fact is, I'd spent money on food that I couldn't eat. She put me on hold for five minutes. I called back and she told me she had an emergency at the front desk and that's why I was on hold so long. As we continued to talk. she then told me that while I was on hold she had gone to find the housekeeper who was on duty Sunday. She then took my name/number, asked me what room I had stayed in and told me she would go and check the refrigerator. Needless, to say I haven't heard from her since.
Rooms were clean, but the service could definitely be better.

We stayed one night and left are car parked there for 6 days. We flew out of BWI. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are small but very clean. They had breakfast that was set up at 3:00 am, just juice, tea, coffee etc. muffins, cereal, toast etc, excellent fresh fruit. We was happy with that. The only thing was we had to stand in line to check in for at least 15 minutes. The shuttle runs every 30 minutes, it worked out fine for going and coming back. I will defintely stay there again if I was flying out of BWI.
