We visited the windmills at Consuegra and wanted a hotel nearby. There was very few towns with decent hotels, but fortunately we found this one. It has everything you could need for an overnight stay and more. Our room was very large and had a huge sofa, which would have been very comfortable to watch TV from, but the Pay TV didn't work. Only complaint is we were promised someone would come and fix TV, but no one arrived. Breakfast was good and reception staff helpful. Town itself has very little to offer and so it was a lovely surprise to find such a nice hotel there.

We stayed at the Intur in Alcazar de San Juan for one night - only as a stopover between trains. Had twin bedded room (separate twin beds under the comforter which covers entire bed).
The hotel was very modern and had all of the amenties you would expect from a good business hotel - plush towels, toiletries, wonderful bathroom (excellent shower), spacious room with desk and work area. The room had a balcony with a table and two chairs.
The decor of the hotel is quite modern with halls done in black and white tile. Two elevators service the upper floors. Hall ways have full windows to interior courtyard, so everything seems light and airy.
Definitely recommend for overnight if there. However, it didn't appear that there was much to see in the city itself. Taxi fare from train station was 6 euros; paid 74 euros for the room.

This hotel is very nicely and modernly decorated. Unfortunately I didn't have the time to enjoy the swimming pool or sauna but the rooms are very comfortable. The only inconvenience was the fact that there was only international TV avalailable by PAY TV
I was in Alcazar for business. From the car, I couldn't really find the point of visiting this city. However, on a holiday trip this hotel is worth the stay, i.e. from your way from Madrid to Andalucia, as you can really relax for not a lot of monex (I paid EUR65 for a single room with balcony)
