Hotel Torre del Clavero was a very pleasant hotel in a great location for a very reasonable price. It was exactly as advertised – looked just like the photos on the web, had everything it was supposed to or needed: lift, AC, TV with CNN, mini bar, free internet on computer in lobby. Extremely clean and comfortable although it didn’t have tons of charm but I would definitely stay there again. Location was excellent – about 3 blocks, 5 minute walk from Plaza Mayor but on a quiet street so even with the window open a few nights it was not noisy. 53? a night for a single but I actually had a double, tax included, breakfast extra, I didn’t take it.

Hotel situado en el mismo centro de Salamanca, pero en una calle tranquila, por tanto idóneo para visitar esta ciudad. Lo que más nos sorprendió fué el encantador trato y las facilidades que recibimos tanto por parte del presonal de recepción como de las camareras de habitaciones.

The hotel is in a small street with the historic tower opposite so phographs of the hotel are not very comprehensive. For the price we were expecting something a lot more basic. For us the location was perfect, very close to all the main sights, good bars & restaurants but in a pleasant ,quiet street. Our room was modern, light and airy and housekeeping was excellent. Though a small establishment the hotel is well run . On this trip to Spain it was the cheapest hotel we stayed in but by far the best.
