Hatten das anliegende und einfachere Parc Belle Vue zu einem Einführungspreis von EUR 70/Nacht gebucht und sind dann doch ins Parc Plaza upgegraded. Ein sehr angenehmes Gebäude—hell eingerichtete Zimmer, besonders komfortable Betten und Balkone, die die Lage des Parc Plaza's im Park gut nutzen. Zwei Dinge sind einfach klasse hier. Erstens die Lage: Die meisten Hotels in Luxenburg liegen am Bahnhof (die hässlichste Gegend in diesem schönen Land), dass Parc Plaza und das Parc Bellevue liegen aber 5 Minuten zu Fuß außerhalb des Zentrums und haben Blick auf das tolle Petrusse Tal—ein toller Ort. Zweitens: Das Frühstücksbuffet (wird von beiden Häusern genutzt). Einfach super Auswahl mit geräuchertem Lachs und Champagner, aber auch ein amerikanisches Frühstück mit Rührei und Schweinefleisch. Weiß nur nicht, ob es wert war mehr für das Parc Plaza zu bezahlen und nicht im Bellevue zu bleiben. Das Frühstücksbuffet und die Lage ist es aber wert, mehr zu bezahlen.

Having booked the adjacent (and more spartan) Parc Belle Vue for a promotional EUR 70 per night, I was nonetheless upgraded to the Parc Plaza. It's a very pleasant property--brightly appointed rooms, extremely comfortable beds, and balconies that make good use of the Parc Plaza's in-park setting. Two things about this place are terrific. First is the setting. While the bulk of Luxembourg hotels are in the area near the train station (the most unsightly area in an otherwise sparkling country) the Parc Plaza and the Parc Belle Vue are set a five minute walk from the center of town, overlooking the plunging Petrusse Valley--a spectacular spot. Second, the breakfast buffet (shared by both properties) is positively deluxe, including smoked salmon and sparkling wine as well as the usual AM selection of scrambled eggs, carbohydrates and pork products. My only concern about staying here again is whether it's worth it to pay for the Parc Plaza or settle for the Belle Vue. Still, the breakfast buffet and the setting would be worth sleeping on nails for.

Das Hotel ist ok, war aber keine 166 Euro/Nacht wert. Das Hotel scheint zu einem Schulkomplex zu gehören, der nach hinten an ein Geschäftsgebäude angrenzt. Die Zimmer sind recht komfortabel, glauben Sie aber keine der Angaben zur WLAN-Verbindung. Es funktioniert nur in 10% aller Zimmer und im Empfangsbereich. Das Essen im Restaurant war ok, man musste allerdings rund 5 Minuten hinlaufen und als wir da waren, hatte es geregnet. Alles in allem versucht das Hotel besonders auf Geschäftsreisende und Touristen einzugehen, bietet aber kein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Hotel is OK but it was not worth the 166 Euro per night charge for the room. The hotel itself looks to be part of a school complex and is hidden round the back of an office complex. The rooms are relativly comfortable but do not believe what they say about the Free Wireless Internet Access. It only works in about 10% of the rooms and the reception area. The food in the restaurant was OK but the restaurant itself is a 5 min walk from the hotel and when we were there it was raining. All in all this is a hotel trying to cater for the business and tourist travellers but it is not good value for money.

El hotel es bueno pero no vale la pena pagar 166 euros por noche para la habitación. El hotel mismo parece ser parte de un complejo escolar y está escondido detrás de un complejo de oficinas. Las habitaciones son relativamente cómodas pero no creas lo que ellos dicen sobre el acceso al Internet inalámbrico gratis. Solo funciona en 10% de las habitaciones y en la recepción. La comida en el restaurante era bueno pero el restaurante mismo está a 5 minutos a pie del hotel y estaba lloviendo cuando intentamos ir. Sobre todo, el enfoque del hotel son los viajes de negocios y los turistas pero no tiene una buena relación calidad-precio.
