I was visiting Turin for work, and to be honest am spoiled by staying in pretty nice places usually. The agent we use didn't have any recommended hotels in Turin, but told me this was a member of Leading Hotels...I don't actually think it is...or certainly no of the well-known Leading Hotels of the World as I thought she meant. To be fair, it was fine. Service was good and friendly, room was clean, bathroom was fine...but little things made it a dubious 4 star. The room is pretty small and basic - good old brown blanket and not a duvet in site. It just all felt very dated. Location I think is pretty good - although was only there briefly and not really in the centre. Turin looks beautiful though, I'd have liked to stay longer. They have a good system for taxis - only took 2 mins to arrive. I didn't have time for breakfast, so can't comment on that either. In short, I would stay here again, although just manage your expectations of what ca 99 euros is getting you...ok but not up to the standard you might expect

Camera matrimoniale piccola e poco luminosa, bagno poco illuminato e tristemente arredato. Complessivamente l'hotel è pulito. Ha molti servizi ed è vicinissimo al centro, comodo per chi soggiorna per turismo. Personale gentile, molti sono i servizi offerti, tutti a pagamento e un pò cari. Mi sembra che l'hotel, ristrutturato da molto tempo, faccia fatica a tenere alto lo standard del 4 stelle senza nuove manutenzioni.

Stayed at the Diplomatic for 17 nights during the 2006 Olympics. Great location, excellent buffet breakfast. Cleaning service a bit expensive. Wireless internet access was reliable (and free at the time). Staff was very courteous and made the little things to make us feel at home. USA today and Herald Tribune available at the front desk.

Ho alloggiato al Diplomatic per 17 giorni al tempo delle Olimpiadi 2006. La posizione è fantastica, la colazione a buffet è ottima. Il servizio lavanderia è un po’ caro. La connessione wireless funzionava ed era gratis. Il personale è molto cortese e faceva di tutto per farci sentire a casa. Al servizio ricevimento erano disponibili copie di USA today e dell’Herald Tribune.
