READ THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We stayed there for four nights and are just home. The hotel staff are just so ignorant!!! We went for a wedding in the hotel and even though the wedding was great the rest was BAD. The air con was working but I think it was blowing out hot air.
The room was cleaned for the first two days only and I dont think the sheets were changed once!!!
The prices for food and drink were so expensive and not worth it(I nearly fainted when I got the the bill for two sarnies and an orange juice)
It was def not a four star hotel and I have stayed in nicer hostels in the worst areas. We payed ?320 each for four nights thinking it was going to be world class or someway decent and we were wrong.
We got charged for drink that we DID NOT USE from the mini bar and of course THEY were right and WE were wrong. I dont think they know what customer service is?????
So please please please DO NOT stay at this hotel

We traveled through Sicily and onto Italy in June 2008. We stayed at about 8 hotels during our tour. The Quirinale was by far our most enjoyable hotel.
For those who can appreciate and want high Italian ambiance, salons with original art and a friendly staff, this is the place for you. It is centrally located near the Piazza della Repubblica. The restaurant was pricey but great and we had our own private patio overlooking the beautiful garden where the likes of Pucciini, Verdi and Caruso were hosted.
The Rome Opera House is located behind the hotel and has a separate entrance from the hotel. We would not hesitate to go back.

I got married in Hotel Quirinale on the 28th of june 2008. I chose it from the internet, having decided to not get a wedding planner and spent many nights trawling through internet reviews. I contacted the hotel directly and spoke to the event organizers at the hotel who I found efficient and helpful.
A lot of our guests as a result stayed there. As you can imagine, not having been there before, i was a little apprehensive but my apprehension was unfounded.
It was the perfect venue for an irish wedding in Italy. The hotel is beautiful, not perfect, I would say shabby chic! It is very centrally located, and the foyer was lovely. All our rooms were spacious, clean, nicely decorated with lovely marble bathrooms. We had a disabled room for my husbands parents who are quite old. No one had any complaints. Breakfast had a great choice and was delicious.
The reception itself consisted of drinks and snacks in the lovely garden, which was great for the kids and a lovely 4 course meal with a fabulous wedding cake in the sala verdi which was grand!
Music, I booked, was a guy who does many weddings at the hotel called Sergio and he was brilliant. He learnt our first dance and really got the crowd going. Also, the head waiter on the night of the wedding was uber professional.
Overall, i could find little fault with the hotel. the accommodation, food, staff, furnishings, atmosphere and child friendliness of the place made it an absolute winner! No regrets just wonderful happy memories.
PS. My only negative point is that the organizing staff have a relaxed manner, which made me worry a little, but everything that I had asked for was done and there were no problems at all.
