We booked our stay for the family (a couple ans 3 adult sons) by booking.com and as we arrived in the MAjestic, we knew we did a good choice.
The hotel is located in the Chiaia district, wich is a very nice place with goods shops (three blocks form via del Calabrito, wehre Gucci, Vuittom, Armani and another nice shops are) and near to some pedestrian streets, with nice shops as Diesel, and some bars, that are very nice for a late afternoon walk.
You can go walking to an incredible pizza place, Matozzi, wich is only four block away. The owner is a very nice person, as well as and the staff and the place is very cozy and food is amazing - not only the pizza itself and the pasta, but the nutella tart and the other pastries, that are unforgetable. It was such a nice experience that in our 4 night stay, we ate there for two.
The hotel itself is more dedicated to business and the decoration follows this rule, but it was incredible new and clean (what is not common for Naples), the rooms where good and the bathroom was very good also, with a big bathtub and nice shower inside of it.
Just don?t expect a traditiona building, since it?s not.
The staff was so nice to us - since the front desk to the manager and the maids, the breakfast was very good and the restaurant also, I ate there a delicious veal with apple.
The only bad thing is that they dont have personal safes in the rooms, but they said us they where suppose to instal it this year.
I would return without a doubt.

The name of the hotel suggests a slightly different look than the square box style functional exterior. Having said that, the hotel is excellently situated: close to the harbour and smack bang in the middle of excellent and charming and rather upmarket shopping streets. We felt totally safe walking the streets in this area at night (unlike some other parts of town). There are also a number of good restaurants and cafes close by.
I visited the hotel in connection with a conference, with several collegues. We had some hair raising experiences with taxi drivers, so it was a definate plus to be able to walk most places.
The actual rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped.
I see that someone else has commented that the water pressure in the suites on the top floor was poor. That was not a problem for us. We stayed on the first floor (which for some inexplicable reason turned out to be the second floor...) and the water pressure was excellent.
The airconditioning was quiet, efficent and adjustable, so no complaints there either.
The breakfast buffet was good and hotel staff polite and helpful.
I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again the next time I visit Naples.
You do not get a view from most of the rooms and if you want to stay in an historic building, this is not the hotel for you. If, on the other hand, you are looking for a clean, pleasant, quiet and well located hotel - this might be it.
