In general very nice hotel. The location is great, short walk into the shopping areas, to the Gaiety Theatre, close enough to Temple Bar, bur far from the noise of such. The hotel is a bit aged but very well kept, the room was very clean, good hot water, good air conditioning, and most important of all very quiet for sleeping. I found the staff to be very pleasant, well informed, and helpful. I seemd to have seen 4 star rating for this hotel, which in my opnion it is not a true 4 star hotel from a discriminating standpoint, but for sure a 4 star experience staying there. I would certainly return again.

The rooms were in need of a good over haul. Stained bed covers, Chipped woodwork & Dirty walls. Was given such a small room the bed was pushed up against the wall - asked to be moved and was told room was usually used for single travellers! so why put us into it in the first place! Second room on same floor (5th) the noise level was really uncomfortable from the generator & it did'nt help that window was broken so could'nt open it. Toiletries & Towels were sparse. Breakfast not worth 16 euro - was lukewarm and was constantly running out of items. For 4 star this was a real let down - I would not return or recommend to any-one visiting Dublin - Try another Hotel!

This was my first stay in this particular hotel although not my first to Dublin. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff very friendly. Good value for money given its central location.
