We stayed at the SEABREEZE this summer from 6-028 TO 07-04 of this year 2008. We had stayed at this location before in October of 2006. Upon returning, there had been changes to the hotel, only for the better. The front desk was so nice, they offer pool towels all day, they have a daily paper available each day for .75 cents, offered coffee with real creamer/flavored in the lobby. Throughout the week they had activities for the small and older to attend. They have updated their pool chairs and have three gas grills, several wood chairs around a gas fire pit , really nice for teenagers. At front desk you can buy a baggie with marshmallows and graham crackers for a dollar for smores. We also recieved clean towels each day,not having to wash them was a plus. The concierge, her name being Star was very informative. I think our family trip was a hit, great place to stay, shopping for groceries close by too!!!

We just got back from a week at the Seabreeze and found a very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms were clean and in good shape. We had another couple come with us and we had two kids as well. The two bedroom, two bathroom units were a bit cramped for six but we made it work. I liked the location of the Seabreeze. It was far enough from Daytona Beach to avoid the large crowds of "Spring Break", but easy to get anywhere in Daytona to enjoy the attractions. I was a little puzzled why RCI rated this property as a 'gold crown resort' and one of the other properties that Bluegreen owns the Shorecrest Villas in North Myrtle Beach that is just as nice is only rated as a 'silver crown'.
The pool was a nice size and heated which is a plus when the weather was in the mid 70's in early March. The pool lost the sun around 5:00 pm when it started to drop on the west side of the resort and the area cleared out shortly after but then picked up in the evening again. I'm sure that it stays sunny longer later in the year but it does cool the pool area off fairly fast in the early spring. All in all we had a very enjoyable time and wouldn't hesitate to go again. There is plenty to do and see in the area as well.

We just returned from the Seabreeze last week. We had a nice room on the corner of the building, overlooking the pool area. We found our room to be very clean and comfortable. One bedroom had a huge closet for storing our bags etc., the other bedroom was slightly small but was nice. The staff was alway nice and friendly. Everything we needed was available to us such as beach towels, bath towels, laundry soap, dishsoap etc. On Wednesday there was live music by the pool complete with fruit and meat and cheese trays. We booked our reservation through BlueGreen and everything went very smoothly with no problems at all. The only negative was when we checked in there was a pretty hard push to do an owner update, an offer of money, than an offer of $20 more dollars to do it. Three times we said no, we were not interested before we had to sternly say no. Then focus was switched to other members of our party as to if they would be a referal, another push to just listen to the presentation for an hour. We finally just told the lady that we didn't qualify as we didn't make enough money. It was too pushy, and when you have just arrived after a long drive and want to check out your room you have to go through this sales push. However, we were never approched again through our entire stay which was appreciated. The pool area was always nice and clean, as was all other facilites within the property. I would stay again without hesitation. The rooms and lobby are nicley decorated and clean.
