we reserved the room through the eurostar website when we bought our train tickets. I was a bit concerned reading the reviews, but I needen have been.
Ok so the room wasn't the largest, but do you go to Brussels to spend time in the hotel room? I didn't think so.
The room was quiet, without us even asking for hte back room, we got it. So that was a bonus. But to those that do complain, why did you choose to go and stay in central Brussels? Surely you would have known that the centre of any city is going to be noisy???
Breakfast was good. Not over hte top, but still had scrambled eggs and bacon. What else would you need? Beans and hash browns??
Overall not bad, not bad at all.

Stayed 3 nights at this hotel, and by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The description neglects to mention the hotel is in the RLD and that there are transexual prostitues on that street. That part of town was full of drunk vagrants and trouble makers.
Police don't seem to care!
STAY AWAY!

the bed was really nice and clean. dated room but i liked it. the walls could have used a coat of paint but hey it was fine. The bathroom was pretty alright too. i liked the windows and the tv was small but it did the trick good lighting around the bed too. fine size just fine fine fine fine. Hotel lobby nice and had some cool vintage modern art vibe too it. really good breakfast. location was alright too. we were so lost upon arriving in brussels and this place was kaboom, right there. a 3 min walk to the little village like city centre. and about 5 to the Grand Place. Nice staff. Free internet in the lobby. I liked my stay. Carpet was old in the room but we are not to picky and yea totally fine. Good value. Did i mention the great breakfast?

I stayed in this hotel on a short-notice work trip in early June 2007. Got a room for 57 euros the day before arrival. Room was quite small, but adequate and clean. Staff very nice and helpful. A quiet location still nearby the city centre and walking distance from the North railway station. Internet connection downstairs and a complimentary wi-fi network in the lobby area (did not somehow work for my computer that day). I would stay here again, if I had another trip to nearby sites.

We booked a double room but on arrival were transferred to an appartment next door. This was quite spacious and spotlessly clean but if you don't like minimalist decor this isn't for you. Ask for a room at the back as there is alot of traffic and revellers noise at night at the front of the hotel. Location was very good. The staff were wonderful, very helpful and polite. The breakfast was good - bacon and eggs as well as continental. There was enough room while we were there but we could see the restaurant becoming very crowded at busy times. Possibly not suitable for small children as the stairs to the restaurant are very open plan. No hair dryer provided and Belgian sockets have a metal prong sticking out making it impossible to use a two pin adaptor, but the staff provided an adaptor and hair dryer for our use, and even gave us extra pillows - nothing was too much trouble for them. The shower in the appartment was fantastic. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room but this seems to be standard in Europe. There was a small bar in the foyer which would have proivded various drinks if necessary. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
