To say that this hotel is a disgusting, filthy mess would be an understatement. This room was so dirty that the hotel staff had to come to the room twice to pour straight disinfectant into the shower drain and toilet to eliminate the odor of raw sewage. The rooms were filthy and there was trash under the beds from prior guests. The shower walls were encrusted in mold. The staff was dismissive and nonresponsive, and when the front desk clerk made and error, the senior manager (a) would not rectify it, and (b) thought it appropriate to aggressively reprimand his worker in front of other staff and hotel guests. There is no security in the hotel which was obvious as kids ran the halls and pulled fire alarms during the night. Without exception, this is not a place for families.
This hotel is run down not only in appearance, but in the attitudes of the staff. At one point, my family was actually scared and wanting to change hotels. I am a frequent traveler (150 nights a year on the road) and this was by far the worst hotel I've ever seen. Apparently, you do get what you pay for, but I thought a clean room and polite staff were included for $165 a night.

I don't even know how they can call this place a Hotel, the pictures on the website look nice, thats because theyve made the front of the hotel look reasonable for pictures.
The inside was pretty much a converted prison, our window looked onto other rooms, and there was a lovely pipe coming out of our room which u could see going into a drain. We stayed in a 3 bedroom room, which to be honest was exactly the size of a twin room but with an extra bed squeezed in.
the maid service was poor, one of the maids put a "do not disturb" sign on our door so she didnt have to clean our room.
It's about 20 mins by tram ride to the city centre, which for the price you will pay is ridiculous. Don't forget to take into account local tax which is an extra 5% for the rooms which they dont tell u about until you are there. not really sure why there is city tax as its based right on the edge of amsterdam.
The staff in the hotel bar also try to act stupid and charge u extra for drinks hoping that there is confusion with the new currency. the bathrooms are a disgrace too
do not stay at this hotel...

A group of ten adults checked in at front desk and were given rooms in adjacent building across the parking lot. No elevators, dirty, smoke smelling rooms with broken lights and windows that do not open on first floor. Building looked like a temporary out building located right under the highway. We asked to be moved to the main building which they did for a surcharge. Room were on the 4th floor where there was a separate elevator which broke down while we were there only two nights. The staff tried to be accommodating but that hotel is a disaster.
