This hotel is clean, the breakfast is very good. its within walking distance of grand place. I have stayed in better 4 star hotels but have nothing to complain about.

This hotel had everything I could ask for--a clean, spacious room and a great location (a block from place du Grand Sablon and a short walk from Grand Place) at a reasonable price. The breakfast was okay and the staff very helpful. I'd definitely stay there again.

Stayed here for 2 nights on business in August 2007, paid for by company. Location is great - close to Grand Place, and with some great bistros and cafes within 2 mins walk. Hotel is on a tiny cobbled street which looks a bit dark, but seems to be quite safe. Outside is nothing special, inside there's a small lobby with reasonably helpful staff. Lift to bedrooms is reasonable size, corridors v.dark and slightly damp smelling with automatic lights that switch off quite quickly if you stop moving and don't switch on fast enough when you come out of your room. Room was clean but furniture was battered. Bed sagged in middle. TV worked OK. Safe in room was handy, minibar fully stocked. Bathroom clean and bright but smelt damp and musty. Toilet in tiny cupboard separate from bathroom and basin, on the other side of the room, seemed a of an bit odd layout. Lots of construction work going on over the road which started at about 6.30am on weekdays, so you'll need earplugs. Breakfast decidedly average. Overall it's nothing special, the advertised prices looked expensive (I'd have been upset if I'd been paying for myself), and really, the location is the only thing it has going for it.

Nice atmosphere and decor, large room, separate toilets, comfort and facilities are good. However, some details in the room and bathroom clearly showed that the equipment is getting old and the hotel definitely does not deserve 4 stars. Good location. Breakfast ordinary. Better than a lot of hotels I have stayed in in Brussels. My second choice after Novotel Grand Place in this price range.

We stayed for three nights, booking in was OK but we noticed others had to wait later on during the week.
The good - Furnishing of room was nicely done, very modern, easy access to internet, reception staff were nice, location for walking into town and avoiding crowds superb
The ok - Breakfast was satisfactory, however, service was questionable (it appeared that they were overwhelmed with guests - therefore tables weren't prepared quick enough).
The Ugly - Totally agree about the noise as it intially appears quiet but with the parking area in front and the renovation of the building opposite it could keep a light sleeper awake but hey at least the builders didn't work on weekends. The bathroom could of done with a deep clean on showerhead and around tiles
All in all we were content as we booked with a special offer through a website and got a reasonable discount and we didn't pay the going rate! I think we would of been upset if we had as it still needs retuning to reach that four star standard.
