We spent two super nights at this lovely hotel: the location, opposite the Campo Grande (park) cannot be bettered: there is only light traffic in front of the hotel, which is only 5 minutes from the Plaza Mayor. Room and breakfast were all that can be expected and service was first class. As for the city, we loved it, quiet and clean, with nice art galleries and good tapas bars. There is also a nice walk along the riverbank. UK flights are from Stansted only, but the train from Madrid is a couple of scenic hours, and the station is 5 mins walk from the hotel. A great place for a long weekend. The Scops Owl nesting the the park opposite completed our enjoyment!

Fantastic 4 star hotel overlooking the park. We stayed here for one night in August. Everything was wonderful. We got an amazing rate on the weekend, as apparently - the hotel is used more for business travellers during the week. Total cost was 65 euros - and this included - gorgeous double room, parking, and the room service lunch we ordered. We arrived on a hot afternoon and didn't want to go out for lunch, so ordered room service and enjoyed lunch in the air conditioned room. The room we had was lovely, modern, spacious. Big modern bathroom, cable tv, and windows overlooking the park. Quiet location, but only a short walk from the main square, shops, restaurants and bars Highly recommended
