I was at this hotel in 2006 for 4 nights and I and my colleague did find it excellent. Location is new and it’s renovated not long time ago I believe. The price was also very good, I did pay 72 € for the suite. The suite was a 2 room’s apartment and not like a suite in Marriott, remembers that you are in a Scandic.
The best was the staff, they was polite and helpful if we asked for something. When we did arrive at night with some Swedish girls we did meet, they did fire up the sauna and open the swimming pool. When we did check out the manager stand in the hall and help all guests. He was a very polite man and asks what we think about our stay. Was it something they could do better? He was very interested in make our days to the best. Our only complain about Vilnius is that it’s not happen anything on the nightlife except Friday and Saturday. That was no problem, next time he will show us the places where its people all the time…
The location, price, staff and all over imression makes this to a very good deal and at my next visit I will not go somewhere else.

I booked a room in this Scandic back when it was still a part of the Hilton Family. When I got to the location, I noticed all the Hilton Logos..were coved by tape of posters.. I can see why Hilton would want
to dump these hotels. This one was not up to the Hilton Family standards. There was no bathroom amities, the bathroom had a mold smell, and there was a little mold in the shower. The room was small and very basic. Beds were nice, but the room reminded me of my college
dorm room. There is no A/C, and the heat gets so hot you need to open a window.. I was up all night opening and closing the windows.. The breakfast was the worst I have ever been too. It was in the room rate,
but I did not eat anything. Way to much open items, it was like eating
out of someone kitchen. They cut the bacon up into little squires, it was not good at all… The location is good, right in the town, you can walk to the old town and see all the sites. There are many places to eat around the hotel.

The worst hotel stay ever in my life

This was the very worst experience I have ever had in a hotel. Our travel agent booked two non smoking rooms for my parents and myself. When we arrived at the hotel, my parents and I decided to exchange rooms because my room was bigger and would accomodate more family and friends to visit with us. I had noticed that the room I agreed to take smelled like cigarettes and I opened up with window and went to my parents room to visit. When I was ready to retire for the evening, I went back to my room and closed the window. I went to sleep around 11:30 and woke up aournd 3:00AM because my throat was burning from the cigarette smoke that permeated in the room. After drinking a bottle of water I decided to go to the front desk and let them know about the room. The man that I complained to said he remembered me and my parents and that he did notice the room smelled like cigarettes. He offered me some tea and stayed in the lobby and finished my cup. At 4:00AM, I didn't want to go back to my room and decided to go upstairs to the reading/TV area and lay down on the couch. I couldn't have been there more than 10 minutes when the front desk people finally decided to offer me another room on that particular floor. It was a twin but it didn't matter, at least I could finally get some sleep. I finally fell asleep at around 4:30AM I was again woke by very LOUD music at 5:00AM. I got up and opened my door to find a hotel maid cleaning the reading/TV area. When I told her about the LOUD music all she could do was point UP. I then left that room went back to my own room took a shower and got ready for the day. When my mom came to my room I was already packed and ready to get out of the hotel. When I told my mom the whole story, we went to the Lobby and asked to speak with the manager. The manager looked at the notes in the computer and proceeded to tell me that I was given another room. When I told him that I had slept 1/2 hour in that room before the LOUD music that was coming from the floor above he proceeded to tell me that he couldn't help what was going on outside. I told him that it was INSIDE the hotel. The Manager said Oh well there was nothing that he could do. While my mom and I were about to leave the front desk area, the same hotel maid was coming in our direction and I asked her to tell the manager what happened and she confirmed my story. Again, the same insensitivety was once again being portrayed by the Manager.
First I want to say if someone BOOKED a Non SMOKING room, please provide them with a NON Smoking room. Having stayed in that room, I had developed an allergic reaction and I was literally sick for the 10 days I was in Lithuania.
Second, when you bring guests to a NON SMOKING room and it reeks of cigarettes. Please find them another.
Third, when a customer complains about their SLEEPING accomodations be sensitive to their needs because after all they are PAYING YOU to sleep in your hotel. Isn't that what hotels are for??

Went there on a guys trip. Hotel is in a good location within stumbling distance from several clubs and easy walking distance to the old town.
Beds are very comfortable, rooms are decent size for two people. For the price it is difficult to beat. Free internet was a plus. Only downside was that the breakfast started at 8 (too late for an after club feast), and there was no gym.
One last comment, all the alcohol in the minbar had already been opened and refilled- a bit disgusting. All my friends rooms had the same issue.
