Spent a wonderful 3 days at this hotel. It's away from the action on Mallory, which actually is very nice. Our room had a pool view, and an Ocean view and a Tiki hut view and looked over the 7 acres of palms. Nice, friendly, staff. Isaac the Cheekie hut man was very nice. Lots of TV channels, easy in and out of parking lot, nice beds, roomy rooms, great air conditioning (needed it). ONLY drawback was the planes sometimes screeched overhead on take-off (near the airport) but it was a SMALL inconvenience given the ambiance and amenities. It's ON the bus line so you can park and ride to Mallory (parking ain't easy or cheap), not a seedy neighborhood (other 3 star or better hotels on one side and ocean on the other. We really wanted to stay for about...oh, the rest of our lives. Those claw marks on the door jamb are ours. Nice place. 4 stars.

The Ambassador was what we were looking for in Key West. It has a great view, we had an oceanview room with a balcony. It is easy to get to all downtown attractions but removed from all the things that can be unpleasant in Key West. Extremely clean and quiet. A good place to relax and be able to come back to rest. Strongly recommend.

The pool was beautiful, 1 mile from the beach and grocery store. 10 minutes from downtown. The room was big, clean and computer in the front lobby. It was my 3rd time staying there and no complaints at all. The moring breakfast had plenty to choose from!!! Going back next year and will stay here.

We stayed here with our 3 children.The room was huge and we were all impressed with its size. There was a fridge in the room which was nice. There was also a door leading to a screened balcony which my husband and I enjoyed after the kids went to bed. In the am, there was a really good bfast included. Waffles, fruits, cereal, muffins,coffee and juices included. The pool was very nice and warm too. It has two small waterfalls and there is a pool bar, which we did not use. Across the street from the hotel is the ocean, although there is not a beach right there. We drove a short half mile down the road to visit the beach. We were on the second floor, of two floors. There is not an elevator so this could be an issue for elderly or handicapped people. We did not hear other guests when in our room, which was great. The bathroom door would only close with a slam, the carpet seemed a little dirty although it looked clean since it was dark in color and one of the room keys did not work to open our room. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer!
