I had stayed in Scandic from 12-15 June. It is like most of the scandinavian hotel with very small room and single bed. The bathroom is very small and cramp with only shower facilities. However, quite impressive reception area and the staff are all very helpful. The location is very good as it is in the heart of the town where shopping is readily available.

We have been to this hotel for three nights. It is not a luxury hotel but OK. single king bedded rooms are quite large with small but clean bathroom. No bathtube, just shower. The rooms are silent enough probably thanks to the heavy doors an good isolation. Wireless internet is availbale in all the rooms and some PCs are also at the guests' disposal in the lobby. Breakfast is not exiciting but reasonable. Price seems to be a little bit too high also compared to the Norwegian standard. The best thing of this hotel is the position. It is 10 meters out of the pedestrian area whihc means beeing very closed to shops and restaurants. The hotel is also 300 meters from the railway station and from the bus stop (also for buses coming from the airport). Would reccomend it for the position because I have not seen other hotels so close to the center.
