Worn out, tired, Motel 6 is better

We've had better rooms from Motel 6. I really can't believe we booked this through Hilton's web site.
Room was tiny, hard to find space to open up both my suitcase & my wife. Overall condition of rooms, hallways, was unimpressive. Definitely needs a facelift.
Wireless connection is free but coverage is poor. We ended up sitting on a couch in the hallway to retrieve/look up addresses for our postcards. I really hate not having internet access in my hotel rooms. After all, this is the 21st century.
The hotel brochure in the room said that the front desk would take care of our mailing needs (e.g. letters & postcards). The desk clerk sent me next door to the gas station to buy stamps. The gas station does not sell stamps.
Although Scandics are Hilton properties, the front desk seemed at a loss as to what they should do with my HHonors & frequent flyer numbers.
There was plenty of free parking.
Breakfast buffet -- this was the hotel's only redeeming quality. Although I'd rate it 5th of the 5 breakfast buffets we had in Sweden on this trip, that's not really a negative. We had no bad breakfast buffets, only better ones
I will avoid this hotel in the future unless I'm convinced it's been given a thorough makeover.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Great buffet breakfast. Smallish room with no air conditioning but you don't often need it in Sweden.
