As many have said, this is an excellent hotel. The rooms were very spacious and nice. The location was very good, right beside a nice park and within walking distance to the main part of town (very well situated for nightlife). The breakfast was unreal. Considering the cost of food (and everything else in Sweden), the breakfast is an amazing start to the day. The hotel also had two bikes you can check out for free. The staff was friendly and very helpful in planning out places to go at night. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again if I have the chance.

Stayed 2 nights in october 2007 ,this is a very nice hotel very central to t ban and also if you fancied it a short walk into the city ,in is in a very nice location over looking a park hence the name dooh. rooms are well proportioned, beds comfortable and clean ,breakfast is above average with plenty of choice of hot and cold items coffee is good with the option of cream ,the pouring type that really makes a morning coffee slip down very nicely thank you.i would stay again a even bring my family next time as stokholm is a fantastic city and the swedes are very friendly,even though the football team i support NORTHERN IRELAND went all the to stockholm and drew 1..1 ..So 4 out of 5 and have a good trip if you book the scandic park

Booking a room ten days ahead of my 2-day stay, I see the following rates on the web: - 160€/night on scandic.com - 170€/night on Expedia Thinking that booking direct explained the slight price difference, I chose to book through scandic.com... Well too bad for unlucky me! When checking in to the hotel the staff tells me that this rate only applies if I buy ten prepaid nights.. Since I'm not ready to do this they tell me that they will charge me a 220€/night rate!! When talking to the front desk manager, he explains that he can't do anything about it and that he's had to explain this a few times to other guests. I explain to him that well this may be a lack of clarity on scandic.com website unless all these guests are fools.. He still insists it's my mistake! Out of principle (more that money only) I escalate this to the General Manager and I get the same blanket answer as what I had from the front desk staff and manager. Now the charge has been applied to my credit card (473€ for two nights) and there is nothing much I can do except hire a lawyer.. So I'll leave it here but I will definitely avoid Scandic hotels in the future since I don't appreciate being taken for a fool. There is enough choice out there! Scandic Hotels should be aware of it.

Dieses Hotel hat sehr gute Qualität/Preise. Es ist ein gutes Scandic Hotel und die Lage beim Park mitten in Stockholm ist schön. Es ist auch gar nicht weit von Stureplan entfernt, wo man viele Bars und Restaurants findet. Und mit dem Bus Linie 1 kommt man regelmäßig und schnell zu allen wichtigen Attraktionen (kaufen Sie sich eine Buskarte, wenn Sie oft mit dem Bus fahren wollen!). Mit der Linie 44 kann man die Skansen-Region erreichen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und in der Halle gibt es Internetzugang. An Wochenenden gibt es ein sehr großes Frühstücksbuffet mit umfangreichem Service (bis mittags).

This hotel has got a very good quality/price rate. It is a good Scandic hotel and the location is nice near the park of the heart of Stockholm. It is not far at all of Stureplan, where you can find many bars and restaurants. And by the bus 1 you can reach all the center attractions often and rapidly. (Buy a bus card if you take it often !). And by the bus 44 you can reach the skansen area. The room are clean and you ve got an Internet access in the hall. A very large breakfast buffet with extensive service (until noon) on the week-ends...
