my family and I travel alot to baton rouge for lsu baseball and football games. We usually stay at this super 8 motel becuase the rooms are clean and the price is always right. Even when we come in late some nights, the staff is always ready to help with anything we might have left behind at the game or at home. We really like staying at this super 8 motel, hope other LSU fans feel the same way!

After driving 12 hours from South Carolina going to Beaumont, TX, my daughter & I just wanted a nice warm shower and comfy bed to sleep in until morning when we would make our way into Texas. Well, we didn't get either one. The room was "clean" to look at if you didn't look too close, but the bathroom was very noticeably dirty. There was dirt and hair in every corner of the bathroom, the tub had dirt in it and there were no towels in the bathroom. There went our warm shower! The bed wasn't too bad but because of the way the bathroom looked we weren't sure the room was really clean, either. The air conditioner vents were covered with dirt and you could smell the "old dirt" odor coming out of it. Not too good if you have breathing problems. The other thing I need to mention is that there were a few guys standing out on the balconies here and there talking on their cell phones for most of the night. We didn't feel too safe at this motel. Needless to say, we slept fast and left as soon as we got a few hours of sleep. I will never stay at that Super 8 again!

The staff was very friendly and the rates were very affordable. Restaurants were with-in walking distance (always a good thing). We will stay there again. Thank you.
