Looks plain on the outside, but the rooms are really very nicely done. The continental breakfast was the best I have ever had. Front desk really helpful. All together pleasant stay

Huge room, very clean, friendly and helpful staff, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, free breakfast. What more could you want for under $70?

This hotel was more than average and the staff was extremely pleasant. My husband and I loved our room: it was very clean and the view was spectacular. The free breakfast was even more awesome: Waffles, biscuits and gravy, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, juice, coffee, and cereal were just some of the options we had to choose from (of which I don't know if they serve regularly). We very much enjoyed our stay and if we ever need to stay in Montrose again, we'll always look to them. Even though I've heard great things about the Holiday Inn, this Best Western was definitly, to me, a better deal for an awesome price.

I received a friendly welcome to the Best Western Red Arrow in Montrose on night number two of and eight night vacation and was pleasantly surprised with the room. The two queen bed room was large enough for an additional bed. It was perfectly clean, well-lit, and comfortable, and contained a small refrigerator. The spacious room had a “backdoor” to a patio and park-like yard behind the motel. The continental breakfast featured biscuits and gravy in addition to the standard continental breakfast offerings and was served in a room that large enough for a small restaurant. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this motel. Skip the Days Inn and Super 8 across the street and stay here; you won’t regret it.
