August 15, 2007 Very Clean Room! Maria, who checked me in was so helpful and accommodating to my requests. My family and I are very fussy and I must say the room and bathroom were very, very clean. The hotel is new. Maria is just wonderful. This is a privately owned Best Western and they run it very well. I give it 6 stars! I would stay here again in a heart beat. The location is great very close to long beach aquarium, Queen Mary etc. We ate at Bubble Gump, yes the place is based on the movie, very good food! Long beach is very nice.

The staff was very nice and helpful. A good location in a safe area. Walking distance to most local attractions and the shuttle busses were nearby and handy. Parking did cost 7.00, unlike some reviews here. A nice hotel, which I will stay at again when I am in the area.

I stayed for four nights at the Best Western at the Convention Center. Great location for someone without a car, and walkable to many of the features of Long Beach, including Shoreline Village, and close to transport links, including the Metro into Downtown LA and the Passport bus around Long Beach. The hotel room was comfortable with a lovely bed, good TV selection and clean bathroom. Good value for money. The staff were not outstandingly helpful, but told us what we needed to know. The hotel doesn't advertise that its pool is available and it was still very much under construction when I was there. Some great restaurants nearby, including Utopia across the road, and the Long Beach Cafe diner a block away.

Ich war für vier Nächte im Best Western at the Convention Center. Großartige Lage, wenn man kein Auto hat, denn man kann zu vielen Orten in Long Beach zu Fuß laufen, z.B. dem Shoreline Village. In der Nähe findet man auch öffentliche Transportmittel vor, z.B. die Metro nach Downtown LA oder den Passport Bus, wenn man innerhalb von Long Beach Ziele erreichen will. Das Hotelzimmer war komfortabel und mit einem schönen Bett, vielen Fernsehsendern und einem sauberen Bad ausgestattet. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Personal war allerdings nicht super hilfsbereit, hat uns aber mit den nötigsten Infos versorgt. In der Hotelbeschreibung wird verschwiegen, dass es dort einen Pool gibt, aber der war auch noch im Bau als ich da war. In der Umgebung gibt es ein paar großartige Restaurants, z.B. das Utopia auf der anderen Straßenseite und das Long Beach Cafe einen Block weiter.
