I live in Saskatchewan and am a season ticket holder for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. I am in town several times during the season and was looking for a reasonable night's accomodation. I found nothing decent in the city for under $100.00 and settled on the Super 8, where I paid $128.00 with my CAA discount, because of their advertised contenental breakfast. The rooms were barren and somewhat worn and the soaps and such were minimal. The continental breakfast was abismal!!!! Warm OJ, dried out bread to toast, with the cheap runny packs of jam and muffins that I would not feed to a seagull. No fruit, no bagels or danish. Just plain; and obviously no thought had gone into it. I am now staying at the Rad (Hotel Saskatchewan downtown) as there is very little price difference and you are getting a wealth of history and beauty. Screw the contenental breakfast and go for the luxury. You'll end up spending the same ammount of money anyway. This is an accomodation worth the $122.00 for the night.
