Just back from a 2 night stay at this hotel. Arrived at the train station and phoned the hotel - within 5 minutes, our transport arrived (we weren't aware it was so close, but with skis etc, it made things easier). We arrived early on Saturday 16th Dec @ 10:30am, and we were allocated our rooms straight away, which meant a quick turnaround before heading out to ski. Extremely impressed with the link with it's sister hotel, which allows hotel guests the option to use their spa treatments - outdoor pool, saunas, steam rooms etc, inclusive of price. Breakfast was very nice with a very wide range of choice. We requested a late departure which was also fine with the hotel. All the little things that can easily make a hotel stay awful were not evident here. Everything done with a smile & nothing was too much bother - just how it should be. Will definately return within the next year.

Siamo appena rientrati da un soggiorno di due notti in questo hotel. Siamo arrivati alla stazione dei treni e abbiamo chiamato l'hotel e dopo cinque minuti sono venuti a prenderci. Non sapevamo che l'hotel fosse così vicino, ma con gli sci e tutti bagagli è stato comodissimo. Siamo arrivati sabato 16 dicembre alle 10,30 del mattino e ci sono state immediatamente assegnate le camere. Ci siamo rapidamente cambiati e poi siamo andati a sciare!! L'hotel è collegato a un hotel affiliato, nel quale potrete fare trattamenti termali, usare la piscina esterna, le saune, i bagni turchi, ecc. La cosa ci ha davvero sopreso perché era tutto incluso nel prezzo. La colazione era ottima, con un assortimento molto ampio. L'ultimo giorno abbiamo chiesto di partire più tardi rispetto all'orario previsto e l'hotel non ha fatto problemi. Non c'era neanche l'ombra di tutti i piccoli particolari che possono facilmente trasformare un soggiorno in una brutta esperienza. Il personale faceva tutto con un sorriso ed era assolutamente disponibile, proprio come dovrebbe sempre essere. Ritorneremo sicuramente entro l'anno prossimo.

Wir waren mit unserer Familie (15 Personen) vom 19. - 20. Juni im Nicolette, wir hatten sieben Zimmer. Die Aussicht aufs Matterhorn war ein Plus aber wir haben nicht wirklich viel Zeit auf dem Zimmer verbracht weil wir lieber durch Zermatt bummeln wollten. Am nächsten Tag nahmen wir den Zug nach Gronergrat. Das Hotel ist nur ein paar Straßenzüge vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt und das Hotel schickt auch einen Wagen, der die Gäste und das Gepäck abholt. Man kann leicht vom Hotel zum Bahnhof laufen, 3 oder 4 Blocks. Wir hatten drei Zimmer im ersten Stock und die Aussicht aufs Matterhorn war gut. Wir hatten auch drei Zimmer, darunter eine Suite, im fünften Stock und die boten eine großartige Aussicht aufs Matterhorn. Frühstück wurde im vierten Stock serviert, auch mit toller Aussicht aufs Matterhorn. Das Hotel hat viel mit Gruppen zu tun und der Service beim Frühstück ist flott. Die Gästezimmer und Badezimmer sind geräumig und schön ausgestattet mit guten Möbeln und Armaturen. Das Hotel gehört zur Seiler Gruppe, der gehören auch noch drei andere Hotels in Zermatt. Direkt daneben ist das Mont Cervin Hotel in dem die Gäste des Nicolette die Swimmingpools (draußen und drinnen) und das Spa benutzen können. Das Hotel war für unseren Familienurlaub in der Schweiz super. Wenn man als Paar unterwegs ist, dan vergleichen Sie die Preise vom Hotel Mont Cervin oder dem Hotel Zermatterhof (scheint das luxuriöseste Hotel in Zermatt zu sein). Das Nicoletta war großartig und wir würden hier wieder unterkommen.

We stayed at the Nicoletta on June 19 and 20th, with our extended family of 15 persons in 7 guest rooms. Having a view of the Matterhorn was a plus, but we really didn't spend much time in the hotel, as we wanted to stroll through Zermatt, and the next day, take the cog train to Gronergrat. The hotel is just a few blocks from the train station, and the hotel will send its luggage van to pick-up you and/or your luggage. You can easily walk to the hotel from the train station, just about 3 or 4 blocks. We had three rooms on the first floor and the view of the Matterhorn was good. We also had three rooms, including a suite on the 5th floor and the view of the Matterhorn was superb. Breakfast is served on the 4th floor with a great view of the Matterhorn. The hotel is used to groups, so the breakfast service is fast. The guest rooms and bathrooms are spacious and nicely appointed with quality furniture and fixtures. The hotel is owned by the Seiler Group, which also owns 3 other hotels in Zermatt. Adjacent is the Mont Cervin Hotel, where Nicoletta guests can enjoy the indoor/outdoor pool and spa. This hotel really worked well for our family tour of Switzerland. If you are traveling as a couple, compare the prices for the Hotel Mont Cervin or the Hotel Zermatterhof (which seems to be the most luxurious place to stay in Zermatt). The Nicoletta was great, and we'd stay there again.

This January was our second trip to Zermatt and our second stay at the Nicoletta. This hotel is perfect for families. The children's pool at the (attached by underground passage) Hotel Monte Rosa is fabulous, the free hot chocolate and cakes in the afternoon is wonderful, and the early kids' seating at dinner can't be beat. After our first day there last year, our older daughter said to my husband, "This was a perfect day. Can we do it again tomorrow?" Our younger daughter loved the kids' club, especially the horse-drawn sleigh ride through town. We loved the dine-around option and the fact that the hotel is so conveniently located. We have already booked our skiing holiday at the Nicoletta for February 2007.
