J’ai séjourné à l’hôtel des voyageurs en octobre pendant le marathon de Lausanne. Cet hôtel est un peu difficile à trouver car il est dans le centre de Lausanne où beaucoup de rues sont en sens unique et s’étagent sur différents niveaux. On peut se garer devant l’hôtel pour décharger ou charger les bagages. Le personnel est sympa. J’ai eu une grande chambre avec baignoire. L’accès à Internet wi-fi est gratuit. Le petit déjeuner est bon, mais ils n’avaient pas l’habitude d’avoir tant de monde et ils manquaient certaines choses pour les gens qui arrivaient tard. L’hôtel est très bien situé, dans le centre ville, ce qui permet d’accéder aux transports en commun facilement. Si vous le pouvez, essayez de demander une chambre à l’arrière de l’hôtel. J’étais en façade, ce qui était très bien pour la vue, mais la rue est très passante car elle mène à la partie de la ville qui est animée le soir. Alors c’était trop bruyant la nuit. Globalement cet hôtel est super si l’on considère le prix et l’emplacement. Mais il faut se rappeler qu’il est assez bruyant le soir en particulier pendant les week-ends.

I stayed in the Voyageurs hotel in October during the Lausanne Marathon event. The hotel is a bit hard to find, it is in the centre of Lausanne with lots of 1 way streets and different levels of altitude. You can park your park in front of the hotel to load or unload your luggage. Staff is friendly. I got a spacious room with bath tub. There is free wireless Internet available. Breakfast is good, although they weren't used to the amount of people staying in the hotel, so some items were not available for people having breakfast late. The hotel is ideally situated in the centre of the town, with easy access to public transportation. If you can, ask for a room at the backside of the hotel. I stayed at the front site, which was very nice for the view, but the street is used as a transit road for visitors of the entertainment section of the town. So at night, it can be quite noisy. Overall, the hotel is great considering the location and price, but be aware that it can be noisy at night, especially during weekends.

We finally found this hotel after the most frustrating search ( the streets in Lausanne turn and twist at all kinds of angles!). The rooms and breakfast were fine and the staff pleasant, however, the street noise is unbearable-- LOUD partying in the rooms nearby at night, followed by early morning shouts and clanging from vendors in the morning. Skip this one.
